Guys. It's january--okay. It was january when we went, I know it's Feburary now. And we went to play at the park. No snow. No cold cold coldness. It's been beautiful. I wouldn't say no to some snow, but I'm loving this weather. I'm sure we will pay come summer.
I am sorry for all of those (Kenz, mom and dad) on the east coast that are buried in snow, literally, I hope everyone stays warm and safe!!
It ended up being colder than I thought, but luca didn't care. My in laws ended up giving us a ride home because we went to the park right by them for the swings.
He didn't love the swings as much as he used too. I'm telling myself it was because of the cold. We will try again this week. Our week of 60 degree weather. Yes.
He is trying so hard--and doing SO well--at going up and down stairs standing. He loves to hold the railings and go up or down like a big boy. I don't appreciate that in my house. He has yet to fall down them--knock on wood--and if he does it will be no good. So far he just sticks one foot over and calls for me. I tell him to turn around--or go up and help him down the way he wants.
He loves the park. My sister in law met us there so he went down the slides a bunch of times too. Once on his belly--his own doing and he just laughed and laughed.
We went back to my in laws to get warm, Luca insisted on walking and helping push the stroller.
I mentioned this in previous post--but luca knows right where his toys live at grandma and grandpas so he goes to the closet and begs saying please until we open it. Then he runs straight to the carpet to wait. I finally got a picture of the waiting.

He has been having weird separation anxiety lately--I know it's totally normal, but it's new for us--and he didn't want to go to anyone. He went to my father in law, but only for a minute or two before he was begging to come back to me. Usually he loves everyone and wants nothing to do with me! He goes to someone else and waves bye to me. They even bribed him, but he just shook his head no.
We will see how long that lasts. I love being loved, but it can't stay forever!
Hey we almost did the park today! But then I stood up and walked a couple steps with my huge body and was all "mmmm better not..."
