The one with our last Ohio Day.

Wow. These are olllld. I don't even remember when we did this. The very beginning of Novemeber I think.

We expanded this time and invited everyone we could think of! Lots of people came and it was a blast! It definitely needs to happen more often!

Abyl tried to wrestle with luca. He didn't love that.

Top row: Carrie Budge, Kelly and Thomas, Linda Richardson, Luca and I, Ashlynn Andrewsen, Brenda Andrewsen, Sara. Bottom row: Emilie, Grant, Abyl, Halie, Brittany, Jace, Stephanie and her babe. Who I can't remember a name for! If someone knows tell me! Sara??

It was so fun! It won't be the same without Kelly and Thomas next time, but there needs to be a next time!

The one with the May Ohio Momma lunch.

This time around we did a taco bar and it was delicious!!! More work but so worth it!

I realized all too late that I didn't take a singe picture during all the chaos so I stole all of these from Sara. But in my defense I am trying to not always have my phone out and in my hand. Thanks woman. And I'm still sad we forgot a children picture this time!!

Usually there is 5-8 mamas that come, we have adopted a few--yesterday there were 6 of us--Emilie was a sicky. From the 6 mamas there were 8 kiddos and out of those 8 kids 4 were toddlers.

Needless to say there were more, time outs, crying, screaming, hitting, and right out meaness than we have ever had.  It was pure crazyness at some times. And loud. The whole time. Sooo loud.

Sara's so good to let us come to her house everytime. She cleans like a mad woman the day before for us and then has to clean up after everyone leaves. She's impressive!

Next time we decided everyone will bring their own meat and we will grill and have salads and sides! I'm excited--and a little scared. All the babes will be crawling so soon and it will be even more insane of us all to gather in one house. And more dramatic. It's WORTH IT!

The one with an ohio momma day!

Lets start off with my "mom of the year" moment from this morning. I was folding laundry in Luca's room, but with my back to him while he was playing on the changing table. I was right there, I turned around several times and was talking to him, he was just chatting away. And then. I turned all the way around when I was done. And this is what I found.

He was just hanging off the edge like that. Had he kicked or moved one more inch he would have fallen right off. Someone is watching over my babe, and I am grateful. That will teach me to keep my back turned so long. And. Yes. I'm aware this makes me an even better mom, because I paused to take a picture. But I held onto him once I realized.

Anyways. We had our February ohio mommas day today. I love love when we can all get together and just eat and chat about our lives now, and reminisce about the past. It's so fun. And almost like a therapy session.

I sat Luca on abyl. Because he's a constant moving ball of energy. He laid still for maybe 30 seconds, which was probably some kind of record.

And then used my child as a chew toy. Probably to get back at me for sitting my child on top of him.

Grant got all dressed up in his new train outfit from daddy. It was adorable.

And of course little hailey was so content just crawling around exploring and discovering things. She cried twice today. That was weird.

Poor Thomas was so sleepy but there was just so much going on. Kelly appreicated his cuddlyness though, so it all worked out. He's so precious. And also huge.

Here's the three born within 18 (I think...) days of each other. :) Luca is still so tiny compared to the two of them. And I am grateful. On account of I have to carry him everywhere and he is at least 10lbs lighter in his car seat than the others I'm sure.

The whole gang. Grant looks ticked because he is. We woke him up from his nap because he had been sleeping so long and we wanted a picture and for him to get to play. We also took this right after Sara took him out with a blanket in the kitchen. So it's her fault too.

This time we did hoagies. Which is SUCH a better idea than pizza. So we shall do that again. Chips. Veggies, drinks and dessert. It's lovely. I only remembered I didn't take a picture of all of our awesome food after I was gone, so I just took a picture of the dessert I brought home. Buckeyes. How adorable is that?? I thought of it on my way to Sara's so I stopped and got the stuff for them and we made them real quick before everyone got there. They were a hit. Of course. We are all buckeyes at heart.

The one with the Ohio ladies reunion

Sara, Kelly, Emilie, Brittany, Debbie and I all got together with our kiddos today. I love that we are still friends! I have very few people I'm still close with from that long ago. They are some of them.

One if our other ohio friends posted this picture a few weeks ago on Facebook, and I wanted to get a picture with all if us and the kids but I forgot my dang camera! Oh well. Next time!! Sara you don't get out of it forever.

It's always crazy chaos but today wasn't as bad as it has been before. Grant is much nicer now and a good sharer. There was only one incident of crying and it was an accident.

I love when we can all get together and just chat away.

Thomas and Luca are only like 18 days apart, but it sure seems like a few months! Thomas is so big! It's so fun to see the differences.

Luca still doesn't fit in all his newborn clothes, and Thomas is wearing some 9 month stuff! It's crazy!

Jose's mom and sister wanted to see a movie tonight, so we met up with them and saw Jack Ryan--which was fine, nothing amazing though.

Of course Luca didn't sit through it all so I was in and out but overall he did well.

And maybe when you change a diaper alone and then have to pee yourself...you do what you gotta do...

He was all tucked in so he couldn't fall don't worry. Or judge me.
