The one with a haircut from Uncle Tony!

While we were out I found these awesome water painting pages that Luca could do on the plane, we tried them out when we got home.  They weren't as pretty as they looked on the cover, but cool nonetheless!

Grandma, Grandpa, Nicole and Halie came up for the blessing on Saturday, so Luca got to spend some time with Grandpa Danny before he left to take Nicole to Utah.

Luca begged him to swing, and he got right on with him, he's such a good sport.

Luca had been scratching his head non-stop since we were at Mackenzies the first time, and I needed to see what was happening under all that hair, so Uncle Tony cut it all off for us.

He did so much better than I thought he would--all the distractions were wonderful--and much needed.  We had frozen on the ipad, chocolate chips, fruit snacks, and everyone around him.

Tony did such a good job, I was mighty impressed by it.

He had a few bug bites back on his head and that is what was so itchy.  I am glad we figured that all out so he wasn't miserable anymore.

He showered with Uncle Tony after to get all the hair off, and then got to wander around in a towel, one of his most favorite things to do.

The one with a trip to grandmas house.

Luca got a haircut this week--he didn't enjoy it. We miss the curls, and his little ears are popping out like crazy--and I can't even blame it all on his dad. Good things he's dang adorable.

We went to see grandma and pick up some things from her old house. They just sold it so they are getting rid of things, so we got to take some things that we wanted. So many memories!

My dad gets her beautiful dining room table, and since he's so far away, I'm keeping it for him until he can get it. I'm very excited. It will be here any minute now!!

Grandma is doing so well--it's crazy!! She's eating and walking around again, and making her own bed! It's very exciting.

The boys ran around the place like psychos and she relished in it. She laughed and played with them again like she used too. I loved it.

She's so sweet to them, and luckily Luca was too.

He's all about giving kisses lately. He likes to kiss me all over my head and face like I do to him. I've caught him kissing everything lately. His toys, my legs, dolls, the piano--doesn't matter what it is. They deserve a kiss apparently!

The boys occupied themselves while we looked around and behaved surprisingly well. I was pleased. So much less stress comes when children are good--especially in a house with so many breakable things.

Seriously. The storms are my favorite.

I'm working on loving the puddles like Luca. But man when we are late to something and he jumps right in a mud puddle my brain goes crazy.

Jose and I went to see tomorrowland and left Luca with my in laws. He went a million miles an hour and gave them a run for their money. He loves it over there. He never hears the word no.

That's what grandparents are for!

Lucas newest thing is the letter O. He's obsessed with it ever since we learned it. He points them out everywhere he sees them. The TV, books, outside, my phone, everywhere. In nursery today he ran as fast as he could across the room, and dove head first into the toy bin, just to point out the o's in "Foxboro" that was written on it. He was proud.

On our way home from church we drive down a street of "10" addresses, like 1034, 1035 etc. and he yelled them all out, but couldn't really keep up with them all, and get all flustered. It was awesome.

He has to watch daddy go to work now, up on the couch by the window.

We went to babies r us to get a toddler bed rail, and Luca tested out all their $300 toddler beds--WHY do people buy those?? I don't understand.

Anyway. While we were in line he found these cheese balls and wanted them so bad he ran off with them and tried to open it.

See him side eyeing me?

Seriously. I love my child. He eventually out them back--I did not cave.

He was all about the baby dolls in nursery today. He carried one around and took its hat on and off and kissed it. Then threw it across the room. No big deal.

I try to get Luca to watch movies like this sometimes, because that's how I did when I was a kid. It rarely lasts longer than a few minutes, but I love it while it does.

The one with a haircut.

Luca loves loves to dance. He gets way into it at any sound of music. He squats and bounces around, and then spins and spins. He puts his right arm up, almost like he has an invisible partner, and goes round and round. Usually until he falls down. I love that he loves music. I hope one day he can understand what it can do for you.

We had a framer come over this morning to fix our stair railing, and then Luca napped and then we ran errands with grandma.

We went to smiths and costco--Luca loves the pizza.

Then we went to get Luca his very first "real/professional" haircut!

My last post proved how necessary this was. It was so long and crazy.

We went to cookie cutters--I was worried, but he did SO good!! He loved all the fun things, and being able to sit in the airplane and have a sucker!

Grandma was the best distraction though, she sang, jumped and played with him the whole time.

They are very prepared here. Tvs at each station, suckers, balloons, bubbles, and toys!

I'm so glad he did so well--it gives me hope--I really need to get better at doing it myself. I can't pay for that many haircuts a year!  I need to find a cape, and then maybe I can attempt again. They were so fast and good I almost would rather pay forever, but not really.

He is all clean cut and adorable still! I'm glad it's done!
