The one with a flight to Ohio.

I didn't mean to publish that last post first, so just pretend this was first.

We went to Heber on Sunday for Coopers mission homecoming--I can't believe its been 2 years, the boys reunited all adorably--which I missed, dang it--and they played so good while we were there.

We went to tucanos for Jose's birthday meal before we left, and Luca ate a ton of watermelon, but before eating each piece he would take it by the rind and walk it around the table and talk for it, it was amusing and messy.

Then he and dad had a war with them, and fought each others watermelon off.

Luca did pretty well on the flights out--well the first one.  We really need to start getting him his own seats dang it.  Its just too hard this way.

However, I did lots of researching before we went, and got lots of new ideas for entertainment on the plane.  This pill box with tiny snacks in it was the best thing, it occupied him for so long on both flights, but not long enough of course.

I got those gel sticky letters from targets dollar section, which were a hit, but next time no letters, they are too hard to get it all the way on to stick.

This was a beautiful time ^^ he sat on the floor between my feet and watched frozen for a bit.

Stickers were our other win.  He stuck them on me, on him, on stuff, on the chairs, and on our neighbor.  He was such a good sport.

When we boarded the plane, that seat was the last one left, and he whined about having to sit in the middle first, and then about the child next to him, so I wasn't thrilled about sitting there either.  But he was super sweet, and played with Luca and put up with his loudness, and moving, his spills, and even let him drive his car on his head.  By the end of the flight Luca was calling him "gapa" so that was sweet.  He and I talked a lot, he asked a lot of questions about the church, which was a fun missionary moment for me.

Luca wandered up and down the aisles a bunch, when there wasn't turbulence to keep him in my lap, and the flight attendants were so nice about it.  They kept tripping over him, and being blocked by him, but they didn't complain, or ask me to stop letting him walk.

He went all the way to the front, and then would come back and wave at everyone as he passed.  He found more friends on his ways up and down and would stop to play for a bit before continuing on.

He was automatically drawn to Halie, he has loved this age of girls lately, its so funny.  I love that he loves them, and that Halie is so good and will play and read with him.

The one with our last days in Heber.

Tae, Chase, Luca and myself had a little coloring session.  Luca had more of a throw the markers on the floor session, but whatever.

Jen sent me a link to a youtube thing for the kids to watch--about training a puppy.  They were supposed to get her the tuesday after they got back--but they brought her home with them as a surprise!

Why yes, that is a doll stroller.  And yes, I had to tell them they couldn't push him in it outside.

The girls got the real stroller out and pushed Luca up and down the street.

He is trying to see tangled on the TV from the table there.

In the ear.  Because that is where they go.

On Sunday, we went into nursery for the first time, since it wasn't our ward, and Luca's first time I stayed in there with him.

He loved it!! He didn't even care that I was there, I tried to hold him for singing time and he got all mad until I put him on his own chair.

It was so adorable.

Then daddy finally came!  He couldn't come the whole time we were there because of work, and to say Luca was ecstatic doesn't even begin to cover the emotions that came flooding out when he saw him.

They played out on the trampoline for over an hour.

Then Jen came home with a dog!!  Probably nobody noticed that parents were even home.  They only had eyes for that tiny pup.

Luca included.

She was so sweet, and the kids were thrilled!  Totally worth staying later so they could experience that!

The week flew by, and the kids were angels, they didn't fight once, or argue.  We had some blood level issues with Tae, but she handled it like a champ, and one hospital run, but no broken bones! They were all so sweet to each other, and helpful, I couldn't have asked for better kids to watch!

I did go to see Grandma Mary one morning with Luca, and she seemed to be doing well.  She halfway sat up, and joked and laughed with Luca.
