The one with sticker roads.

Boys, I am telling you.  Luca is so weird.  After being awake for a while, I went to change his diaper, and found it like this--no complaint whatsoever.

Church with a 2 year old.  The only way to get through sacrament meeting with minimal meltdowns.

We went through drive through at wells fargo--the guy remembered us and Lucas yellow preference for suckers.  He didn't have any more yellow ones so we settled for green, Luca loved it anyway.

We got this massive slide on swapping!!  It had "some" marker on it--OR it was covered, but the magic eraser handled all of that--and clorox wipes to the rescue.  Gross animals.

I was making dinner--or doing the dishes, I can't remember but I turned around to Luca saying "mom!! A-den!!" No thanks child.

This costco castle is the hit every time we visit now, I let him play if we have time.

Lining things up is a favorite thing to do now.  Even trash.

The slide is a hit for the winter.

We went to the movies to see "soupy!" which was also a hit!  Cute movie.

The one with some friends and organizing.

Luca and I went for a halloween bin, he didn't seem to mind being squished under there.

When we visit dad at work Luca likes to attempt to climb the counter.

I "babysat" Grant and Nikolai in the car while sara and Matt visited with their neighbor and gave her a blessing--wild boys all locked in a car.

They didn't seem to mind either.

Luca and I met Kelly and Thomas  at the dinosaur museum to play.  We ended up basically sprinting through it, so we went to see hotel Transylvania with them.

The boys and annie did so good!

While Luca napped I tacked some much needed organizing.  I love pretty matching things.

The one with more Halloween.

So, first, you're welcome for that picture.  Just be glad you didn't have to be there.

I went in to get Luca one morning--he doesn't come out of his room until someone goes in--beautiful and not-he can open the door--but he knows he isn't allowed out at night or nap time so I think he just thinks he isn't allowed.  We are working on it.  He is almost always just sitting on his bed waiting when I open his door.  This particular day he was laying in his bed, and I was smacked in the face with a disgusting smell.

I turned on the light when Luca sat up and saw that diaper sitting on the floor.  My brain went a million miles an hour, did Jose leave it out last night? Did Luca dig it out of the genie--gross.  I asked him, but you know, just got an garbled gibberish answer.  Then, he got up, and I grabbed him before he touched it, because he was showing it to me.  He wasn't wearing a diaper.  Lovely.  He isn't an early poo-er usually, so he must have just wanted it off.  He unzipped his jams, took it off, set it right by the genie, zipped his jams back up, and got back in bed,  and just waited it out.

At least he is resourceful, and obviously ready to not have dirty diapers anymore.

We went straight to the shower, and he had poo pieces all in the feet of his jams, again, you're welcome.

We had a playdate that day that I set up with some ladies in the ward--so of course our ward split this week.  But we all had a blast, and there were so many kids, Luca made friends as did I!

Analia and I attacked halloween one night, and Taipan was actually a bust for me, I left with two tiny led candle guys to go inside pumpkins. We went to Michaels to check out their Day of the Dead stuff because I still regret not getting this skull on a pedestal last year.  We totally went at the exact right time.  They had a coupon for just that night, from 6-9 and it was 7:30--basically it was fate.  We found all kinds of awesome stuff.  I really like my people in a cage.  I still want the skull on a pedestal--I got a skull but no pedestal, I may just go back for a candlestick.

While we were there I parked the cart, with Luca inside by the life size skeletons--which I totally want one of just to set it around the house for when Jose gets home late.  Although I am fully aware it would probably freak me out more, and I would be paid back.
Anywho--Luca was sitting by the skeletons having a full blown conversation with one.  By the time I realized I was laughing so hard, and then I hear him say, "issa my moum" and he pointed over to me, and then continued on.  My phone has been stupid lately, which I finally figured out, but I didn't think I could record so I didn't.

AND on the way to Michaels Luca counted to 10 all by himself!!! That was impressive, and caught on camera by the girl who can't figure out how to send them to me.

I have since moved my decorations around to not be so random, but those were most of what we got/had!  I am finally feeling prepared for the halloween season.

When we were at Ikea the day before we got frames to finally hang pictures up in the house.  I ordered prints at costco, go them and wrestled them all into their frames.  Then came all the planning and nit picking details--which I never do and end up with a million wrong holes from.

We got our first pumpkin of the season for luck.  Come on Fall!!!

See Luca allllll the way out there? I stepped inside and told him to come, which he ignored, and when I came back out he was booking it all the way over there.  Thankfully he is still really good about staying out of the street.  But people drove by and judged me for not being next to him.  Whatever.  He came back after he got there and stood there for a minute.

I am prepared for all the NY walking! Bring it on.

We met Sara and the boys at this Russian store just for fun, and Sara discovered the chocolate eggs!! Lucas melted in the car while we were at the mall AGAIN--almost unsuccessful again, but I came out a winner this time, finally--so I had to stick it in the fridge for a day, once it was hardened again I gave it to him.  He loved the chocolate, and the toy for a solid 2 minutes.

It was a ton of tiny pieces that kept falling off so I don't blame him, but it was still cool!

Analia, Blake, Luca, Jose and I all went to the last food trucks in bountiful before going to see hotel translvannia together,  HOLY lame lame lame food trucks.  They were more like food trailers.  I was incredibly sad.  Sara gets good ones.  We did not.  All my food was gross, and then a bug fell in it from the tree we were under, so I was done.

Luca ran around the whole time and made a friend, kind of, his parents were weird.

We got to the movie, stocked up on popcorn and suckers and got all settled.  Luca did really well again, but it was late, and he was super tired by the end, and was snuggling with dad and the iPad.

I didn't really think much about the ending when we saw it, but hearing about poor Grant made me realize how creepy it really was, and unnecessary.  Which is sad.  Luca is all about hating monsters right now--so if we ever buy it we will see how that plays out.  This morning he asked to watch Harry Potter, so I put the first one on while I went upstairs to get dressed, and he came running up and into my room yelling for me, "MOUM! MOUM! MOUM!!" and pointing back down, and then dragging me by my hand to come see--I was worried something horrible had happened, but alas, it was just the troll the trio was fighting in the bathroom.  I just stood and held him until it was done, and he was good to go again.   There is a drawing monster in this random "Color City" movie on netflix that actually made him cry, more than once--he wouldn't let me change it, so he is becoming more sensitive to that.
