The one where I have to catch up, again.

Luca has been totally into Finding Nemo lately, thank you Kelly! We need diversity around here, one can only stand so much blues clues and Frozen.  This was the first time I put it in.  He wasn't interested at first, he kept trying to go and play, but then would get distracted.

Luca is getting really good at drawing O's.  He does it in the air, and on paper! And announces it each time.

Twinners.  It just keeps getting better, I can't wait to see what this looks like when Luca is as old as my dad (3) is in the picture.

We went out for lunch for fathers day the Saturday before, and Luca got a killer fever halfway through, and so we cut it short and headed home.  A 24 hour bug had been circling the neighborhood so I was hopeful that was all it would be, but it ended up lasting all weekend and then some.  It was so sad, throwing up babes are the saddest.

This was before lunch.  Poor guy didn't see anything coming.

He had a burst of energy to color some letters for his grandpas--which we still haven't sent because I fail.

We facetimed grandpa and grandma in Ohio for a bit, a few minutes of joy happened for Luca, but most of it was this bottom picture.

The majority of our weekend was spent on the couch in all day jams, snuggled in blankets with Lucas bear and 2 sips cups--he just loves to hold them--and Harry Potter.  That is all he wanted to watch.

And read.  I promise I don't force this on my child, or make it up.  He makes all of those decisions.  He just loves Harry!

Thankfully Monday evening he was back to normal, it was a long sad weekend, and I'm glad its gone!

The one with a birthday dinner in Midway.

I forgot pictures for Conference, so backtrack a little.

Jose started his new job the day before conference started, so he was gone for it.  Mackenzie and Tony went to the first session on Saturday so Luca and I dropped them off so they wouldn't have to battle the parking and traffic after.

Luca was actually nice and quiet and entertained himself through most of the session so I could pay attention.  That was nice of him.

Mackenzies birthday was Monday after conference, and they still hadn't seen Kristi and Joe, so we met them in Park City for dinner.  We went to Billy Blancos, which was basically a Mexican Car garage turned restaurant.  Overall it was pretty cool, cars and motorcycles over tables and big random murals of singers, and of course stupid posters of women in the mens bathroom--what is that?? Why can't they just leave it alone?  It drives me mad, its so disrespectful and degrading.  I'm done now.

Everything was "garage" like.  I was actually impressed at the creativeness of that part of it.

The food was pretty darn good, and we all had a great time!  I don't know why I didn't get a picture of the whole table, I failed there.

We went back to Joes to chat and so tony could get to know them better, and then headed home.  We got home super late, and Luca was already out, so he slept in a good long time again, past 10 I believe.  He still wasn't feeling good.

His little tush in the air was adorable.

I went in to get him up, because Kenz and Tony were leaving that day, and I wanted him to spend time with them.  I opened the curtains, turned on the lights, banged around a bit getting clothes out and ready and he didn't even stir.  I left him for a bit, he woke up shortly after.

The one with my birthday day.

After being up so late, and then sleeping in we just hung out for the morning and rested. Luca had a fever, and a cough.  Not cool.

We did end up running to costco, for some chicken noodle soup ingredients, and luca was so done by the end of it.

These are out of order, but you get it.

I took these pictures right after he woke up from his 3.5 hour nap!! He slept soooo well, and it was much needed for this cold thing. His cheeks were so rosy when he got up, and he was so happy I needed to document it.

He was trying to see daddy around me in those ones on the right.

This was on the way home from costco. We were just like 2 minutes from home and he was so out of it and tired. He did pretty eyes for us over and over.

Jose took luca and I to Pei Wei for dinner, yum. I hadn't been there before, and it was delicious. Yes yes.

Then I remembered it was free cone day at Dairy Queen so we went and got some!! I was worried we would have to wait forever but they were prepared and we had ours so fast! Luca loved his, but didn't feel good--as you can see so he didn't eat much of his.

He needed to "cheers" our cones a bunch of times.

Can you tell how crapy he felt? I'm a good mom.

We ended up getting tangled (apparently we didn't have it) to try that movie out for luca--frozen is getting old. He liked it, but of course not as much as frozen. I don't know what the deal is with that movie!! I can guarantee it has been viewed more times than the 5 top grossing films of all time combined in homes across the world. My land.

We kept him up later that night too, in hopes he would sleep through the night again. And it worked!
Hopefully we can get back to a good schedule soon.
