The one with music class and a drs appt.

Wednesday was music class again. Luca is back in the groove and loves it again! I just love watching his face light up when he remembers what is coming!

Flower dancing, drums, the wheels on the bus, playing the guitar, it's an hour of fun fun fun!

Then luca went to grandmas--successfully thankfully--while I took Analia to the doctor. She's just the best neighbor.

Luca was so animated talking to his toy. It was hilarious. So high pitched and exciting.

He also basically got stuck behind the desk to type on the keyboard. So I pulled it out so he could play a bit.

We brought Analia dinner later that night and luca didn't have shoes on. But still felt the need to run through all the water. I let him for a bit and then went in and got his little toes warm again.

Thursday was tourchure. Poor child got a bunch of shots and had to be touched by a doctor. He hates stethoscopes since the hospital. It was the hardest trip yet.

Luca is 32.5" tall, 85% for height, and weighs 21lbs 14oz which is still right in the middle.

He's just getting too big.

He flipped out just being weighed and having his height recorded. So I knew it would be super fun.

I had to pin him down for just about everything the doctor had to look at. He just screamed. And our doctor was all, "don't worry, this is totally normal for this age, and 18 months is worse" soooo. Something to look forward too!

Sara suggested we get a doctor kit and practice at home. Which is brilliant. I'll have to do it and hopefully it helps!!

Luca got 3 shots today, measles was one of them. Before I go off on a crazy long rant--because I could, it would be a whole post--let me just say this.

Please be responsible!! Vaccinate your kids--I guarantee that if they had the choice one day between life and dying from a preventable disease, they would chose LIFE! Don't be selfish--other people's children are at stake as well when you decide not to vaccinate, it's not fair for the rest of us!

I'm done. For now.

Luca got a sucker after his shots, and he's pretty good at them. Except the drool he can't control. But he plays with the stick and it's adorable.

The one where I still have more pictures.

My goodness!!!! I have way too many pictures.  These are more recent.

The morning after Luca's birthday, I was upstairs after getting Luca up, and doing some stuff before we came down.  But Luca disappeared.  I could hear him somewhere so I went to find him.  This is where he was.

The night before we put it away out of sight, so he searched for the thing.  Please note how happy he is, even though he is backed up to the wall and can't move--he can still only go backwards.  :)  It doesn't faze him though.

We went to the doctor, and while we were waiting Luca took the stool for a ride.

Then we went to Sara's, I think this was a possible hospital day for her, but it ended up not happening. But we were happy to have something to do anyway!

Those boys are precious.

We got Luca some big cars for his birthday, and he just rolls them all over.

And the bear.  It's all stuffed animals really.  He just loves the daylights out of them.

The one with six month shots.

Well Luca's 6 month appointment was today, and we are all well and healthy over here! Even his little ears that he's been tugging on, are truly just his favorite toys. I've worried that he has a ear infection all the time because he's always playing with those guys.

He gained some serious weight in the past few months! He is 16lbs 11oz now! He's in the 30%, which is a whole lot higher than the 13% he was in at his four month appointment! He's got some meat on his bones now!

He's still a super tall one too. He's 27.8 inches long. Which is the 90%. He's going to sprout up past dad soon!!

It drives me crazy how got they have to keep the offices since the babes are naked the whole time. Man it throws me off.

He did pretty good with his shots. We didn't even acknowledge the first one, but then there were more. He didn't appreciate those.

We had an on and off day for the rest of the day. Happy, sad, happy, mad, happy, you get the picture.

He loves this bear. Seriously. Loves the thing. I had to take it out of his crib because he would get all frustrated in the middle of the night because he wanted to play with it but couldn't reach it. So it had to go.

He took lots of short naps too. All sweet and cuddly one minute. And the next, and crazy cranky mad babe.

I tried to give him some banana--his favorite, but that was a bust. He just wanted to play in it. Which wasn't even worth the mess this time because he was mad within 3 minutes. It took me longer to clean him up than it entertained him.

And then he took another mini nap. He mad again so bed is going to be early tonight.

This morning my child decided to LOVE me and not wake up until 9:30!!! That was so beautiful of him. And incredibly needed for mom. Thanks baby.

When I went in to get him he was totally turned around, flipped over and had piled his blankets on his face. Whatever keeps you asleep until 9:30 love. That's just fine.
