The one with friends.

We finally had another ohio mamma lunch yesterday! It's been a long time! It's so hard to find a time where we are all free. We ate and laughed, played a friends trivia game--I still say I should have been on Sara's team. We would have DOMINATED. We wouldn't have missed any probably!

The kids played well for the most part--with the exception of jace and grant. They don't get along at all anymore.

Luca just hogged the car all day long and pushed people away that wanted to play. Abyl got past that though. He's pretty smart. Luca wasn't thrilled.

But my child was still the best behaved yesterday. This was him most of the time. Chill and relaxed. My inlaws and sister in law will never know him like this. He's like this when he's with mom. Because she is calm for the most part. Once daddy come into the picture he turns into a crazy monster.

Abyl approved of the bigger car seat. He wants his mommy to get him one.

Sara and Emilie went to go get a beautiful rocking chair for Sara--Cuz she realllllllly needed one.

All the kids were calm and nice while they were gone, so Brittany and I decided it's them that riles them up.

Luca, grant and abyl laughed and laughed together then.

After all the chaos left grant and Luca played together nicer than ever. They were so good upstairs alone and peaceful. They would come down and go back up together.

Grant kept calling luca when he was out of sight--"come heaa aca!" They were so adorable.

Grant even found someone new to look at his animals with! It all going so well.

We should have known it couldn't last. I heard Luca crying and went up to find them shut in the dark bathroom. Soaked and the tub on. They played in the toilet. YAYYY. Last time Sara washed grant in the tub--so my guess is that's what he was trying to do. Yuck.

Then I noticed the animal poster was pulled off the wall--and Grant was picking up the thumb tacks from the floor. Earlier he came down and asked Sara--"where animals go mama" and she just told him they were upstairs. Nope. I had him show me where they were, it was ripped and hidden behind his rocking chair in his room. The kid is a smartie. So we handled that, slash I called Sara up and had her do it.

This was a first. Oh boys. I just remember all this from nannying. It's good times.

Then they boys were nakeds while we waited for clean dry clothes. But adorable nakeds. They hugged each other and loved on each other.

Then they rocked in the beautious chair. And Grant requested all his favorite songs.

We sang, if you're happy and you know it--one of Luca's favorites now that he plays along--the "pider" song--the eensy weensie spider, "a god"--I am a child of God, "temple song"--I love to see the temple and the "school bus song"--the wheels on the bus.

Then Luca and I headed home to see daddy and watch BONES! Which had so many unexpected things. Blah.

The one with the Cinco De Mayo celebration!

Well only in America do we celebrate something that nobody else does. And make it a big deal. Oh cinco de mayo. However I don't mind that we did! Tonight was so fun with everyone! We had a good turn out and SO much food. Sadly it got cut short by the coldness--which I am also so not minding. I need coolness. No more heat! It's only just begun though--it's going to be a loooong summer.

Everyone brought delicious food--I didn't even try it all there was so much. We brought salsas, a hot one and a not hot in any way one--for me mainly because I'm a baby with hot things--and some sweet pulled pork, and chicken.

Luca and Tenley are buddies. They yelled to each other all night long again.

That is when Luca wasn't yelling at his puffs to get in his mouth.

We had a blast! We met some new people and mingled around. We love our neighborhood!!

Mom-- that is Kim Barney in the yellow shirt!! ^^

They are moving to Hilliard in July--into the Hilliard ward, and I am oh so jealous. We were chatting a bunch about things that she should do and see there. They will love it. Nobody doesn't.

Earlier today Luca played with daddies toes. Who knew they were such a distraction and fun toy?? Don't worry-Jose had literally just stepped out of the shower from being at the restaurant all day.

They are blurry because of his excitement. He was moving all over the place.

Grandma Becky got Luca lots of clothes when we were out there--but it was bigger so he could grow into them, and  he's finally fitting into them! And this shirt. My word. Chandler Bing anyone?  It's one of my new favorites.

And the lips.

He was clearly just as happy with these pictures as he usually is. He loves it.

Happy cinco de mayo!! Hope you celebrated this fake holiday somehow! :)

The one with loud friends.

Luca got a bath this morning so he was all squeaky clean for church. He loves bath time. And I don't know why I haven't yet--but I let him sit the whole time this time--and he loved it even more!!

Except when his toys floated away, he frustrated about that. We will have to figure out another way to keep them close. Possibly a laundry basket. We shall see.

Bath time alone requires constant eyeballs--but bath time with a sitter requires even more. I had to grab something today so Jose came in to sit with him. In the thirty seconds I was gone Jose said he got up on his knees to get a toy but couldn't reach it and flattened onto his tummy. Face first in the water. Good thing Jose was right there! Good grief.

I like to make his hair crazy after his bath--it's really fine, just like mommies so it doesn't stay for more than five minutes. It's growing so fast though--he's getting another hair cut this week!

He wasn't amused.

He finally fits in this suit outfit my mom got for him--it's a 3-6 month one and the pants are still so long! They cover his entire foot, and then some. I rolled them up several times today before I gave up.

Thanks Grandma Becky!!

Then at church we sat in relief society with our friends. Tenley is just one month older than Luca--they are buds. They spent the hour yelling and distracting the whole class. Good thing they are cute. And that we aren't the only screamers around. That makes me feel better.

Apparently I have learned to tune my own child's yelling out--seeing as it is a constant thing here at home, it was necessary--and at one point during the lesson he was so loud and I wasn't paying him any attention until I noticed how many people had turned around to look at him and laugh.

We took a stroll around the neighborhood again tonight, we are on a roll people! It's the only exercise we ever get sooo.

Luca just chilled out with his feet up.

He was super tired by the end of the walk, he couldn't even reach up to take his puff out of his mouth.

Tomorrow night is our neighborhood/ward cinco de mayo party and I am so excited! It's going to be lots of fun! And so much delicious food. Soooo much food! Yay!
