The one with cleanliness!

It feels soooooo good to have the carpets all clean! My floors are beautiful again. For the most part anyway.

I need to vacuum everything again before putting everything back in it's place, but I broke the dang vacuum so I have to wait for Jose to fix it. So we are still living in a crowded mess of tile area. It's fun.

I got my hair "trimmed" today, or so I thought. I had way more than I remember or thought. But glad it's all done! I have needed it cut for a while.

I went to start a load of laundry and left him with his toys, naked because of course he had already spit up on two shirts I attempted to put on him after his nap, I gave up. I came back to him chatting away and the toys all around his head.

He's done very well sleeping lately. Of course I'm a horrible mother and am out allllllll the time running errands and doing a million things so I haven't really scheduled him yet. I'm working on it now, and he seems to have set his own schedule. That was beautiful to discover. He is also putting himself to sleep for his naps and bedtime in his crib.

A few nights ago he started making agitated noises around 2am and I went in to see what the problem was and he had somehow moved himself up the (inclined) mattress and was against the bars. I have no idea how that happened. I need a camera monitor. He moves so much in his crib. I'm curious about how he does it!

This is accurate. I finished Allegiant today. It took me forever to get through because I knew that the ending wasn't the idealic happiness all around ending that I like. Yes. I'm one of those. But it was still good and I'm glad I read it--and I'm trying to be excited for the movie

Now on to my cousins book, Just Ella!

We picked an awesome rug out at target last night, and then when we got home before I unrolled it I realized the pattern wasn't uniform and it was just random, and no way can my OCD handle that so it's going back and I shall pick a new one.

The one with an early start to spring cleaning.

This awesome weather we have been having has my brain on spring mode. It's beautiful. Until I saw this, this morning.

Which I really don't mind at all especially with what the east coast is still being hit with. I'm not complaining I swear. It was a beautiful thing to get out and walk again though.

Anyway, what's better than getting your carpets cleaned on a snowy day? I'll tell you what. Anything. The door has to stay open, and it's freezing, and you move all your furniture so they can actually get the carpets clean, so there is absolutely no where to sit except right in the line of freezing.

However. This was sooooo past due. We get our carpets cleaned by Chemdry like every year/year and a half. They do such a good job, we love them.

Look how disgusting they were before:

Now of course most of that is actually shadowed, but the spots are there.

We pile everything in the tiled parts of the house, the bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room. It's nice though, we normally use this time to do some major cleaning and usually get a new rug for the living room. That's probably what I'm most excited for. And target wins on where it's coming from.

I also used our empty bedroom to finish putting the baby proof plugs up. And let me tell you, I will never have different ones. These are so handy and way less irritating than the plastic covers. You just slide it over to plug something in, and when you unplug it it closes right up!

We are all just hanging out in the freezing until he's done and I can go get my new rug! And then I can finally paint the coffee table so it matches! Yay!
