The one with a day of packing and Luca Randoms

I was headed to Jens to watch her kids for a few days, so while I packed Luca made the best of life.

I should also say, I was sick for over a week with a sinus infection the day Mackenzie and Tony left is when it started, I basically slept on the couch for a solid week, ignoring my child.  He is a trooper and played and entertained himself so well.  I couldn't believe it, it was a lovely blessing.  He came over for lots of snuggle time and we would play a bit on the couch, it was like he knew I really needed to rest so I could still keep my word to watch those kids!

I will also add, that this door, over by the garage, is the corner Luca runs to when he is mad, or sad, or isn't getting his way for something.  He hides over here for a bit until he is over whatever set him off in the first place.

Pom poms.  They are definitely a toy you have to commit to.  I am telling you.  They get everywhere!!!

The tree behind us and Analia is a pink blossom tree!!! It's so pretty.  I wish we could have big huge beautiful trees, but these little guys make me happy too.

One of our many snuggle sessions.

I was finally feeling better, and really needing to get out, so Luca and I took a bike ride in the beautiful 70+ degree weather we were having and went to the park.  Luca was deprived for a while, so he deserved it.

This girl was there, and was so sweet to Luca and played with him while we were there.

He is too much of a daredevil for me to handle.
And can I just say that I hate this rock, and the set up here--you can't get to any of the big slides without going over it--and there is nothing for little people to hold on too, or balance on, its a rock, hard, and uneven.  It's dumb.

We went to dinner and got ice cream with Joses family that night as well--which led to Sara telling Jen how crappy I was feeling, which led to her getting me a prescription for my sinus infection (because, another stupid thing--10 days??? Seriously? I shouldn't have to wait that long to feel better--especially since I am a mother)--anyway--it all worked out so perfectly, and I had meds within a few hours!!  So thank you for lying to me, Sara.

Jose took Luca to see some fishes and he made his fish face at all of them.  I don't know why I don't take him into pet stores ever, that would be nice of me to do.  Maybe one day.

The one with a trip to see Grandpa Danny.

This is how luca decided to entertain our neighbors all during sacrament meeting. He would eventually eat it and get a new pretzle but he took forever to eat one.

We made it through all three hours of church, but only barely. Luca is getting harder and harder to contain. He played the piano in relief society three times. Then they turned it off. Hurray for electric pianos!

Grandpa Danny was in town visiting his mom in heber so we headed there after church.

Joe stopped by when we were with Great Grandma Mary. We hung out with her for a bit, and then when she needed a nap we headed to the park to wait for church to be over for everyone else so we could go for dinner.

The boys had a blast running all around, and we were joined by Lyle after a while who wanted to be in the fun and pictures.

Matt named him.

So why do people not think through this brilliance--fake grass for the park area!!! It's genius and soft!! Hello. Stop the mulch and irritating rocks.

This was a pretty awesome park too-3 levels to climb! The husbands handled all that while we ladies watched from the safe ground.

Luca got all cozy with grandpa for a bit--of course after a bit of anxiety and clinging to me like a crazy.

Then we headed over to Jamie and Kristens for delicious steak and baked potatoes. I don't know why I'm loving baked potatoes so much lately. But oh my word. Yum.

No. I'm not pregnant.

The boys loved on Liv and we moms did not love on all that hair.

We will never have a dog again. Nope. Ew. Ew. Ew. Not going to happen.

Then the brothers were all adorable for picture time.

The one with a birthday party!

Aunt Ana had a birthday last week, so we celebrated her on Valentine's Day--there was a big old party and lots of delicious food and loud loud loud music. Hahaha. But what's a party without it?

Luca and I spent lots of time out on the park because it was all a tad overwhelming. More for me I'm sure, luca doesn't seem to mind, but he wouldn't leave my side for too long, so he hung out with me and has a blast climbing everything. There also was only dangerous things for him to get into all around so it was hard to keep him happy inside.

There were so many people I couldn't get through them all for any pictures of cake cutting or anything. But you can imagine.

They did a cafe rio bar, and had cupcakes and other yummy treats. Luca probably ate like 50 juju hearts because nobody can say no to his little "more" and "please" signs.

^^if you look closely at those, they are in order. He climbed out of the playpit area and down this little hill just to stand on the grate. He needs to walk on anything that's different now. He's so observant.

And he was walking with all these crazy movements. I laughed and laughed.

Then we discovered the playroom inside which occupied his little mind beautifully. It was getting chilly out so this worked out perfectly. There's a big glass wall into the main room too, so I was able to go out and back in without him being sad because he couldn't see me. That was nice.

He brought all the toys he found and piled them all around me, and played this little piano for the longest time!

Birthday girl!

He even made some friends while I helped clean up.

Happiest birthday (again) to you woman!
