The one with the Tulip Festival 2015

Sara, Kelly, Brittany and I and all our kiddos met up at the Tulip Festival a few weeks ago.  It was our one time to see Kelly and Thomas while they were visiting--or so we thought!!  Hooray for moving back!!!! Especially because our visit was cut short by me being a little late, and someone else being freakishly late.  I'M SO EXCITED!

^^See kellys adorable belly up there??  She was mothering my child who kept touching the gross water while I took pictures.

^^I know this is only funny to me--his face.  Stop.  We will go back to that.

And again, the face.  Hhahahahaaa.  It makes me happy.

Kelly and I headed to lunch after at chick fil a of course--and Luca decided to pour all of his milk out all over himself.  Which was of course after his diaper got so full and leaked on his pants, so they were already wet.  He rode home pantsless.

Okay.  The picture.  The one on the bottom was last year when we went to the tulip festival.  And then this year.  It is just so hilarious to me.  That was my favorite picture of Luca for the longest time last year.  Oh man.

Also, I am very aware that its my timing on pictures and not actually my child.  But come on.  Its so funny.

Also.  Look at the differences.  Our babies are huge.

We went out with Grandpa to get frozen yogurt that night, and luca enjoyed all my sample cups.

This was our norm for scripture reading for a quite a while, he is back to sitting on my lap (in the hopes that I will read some Harry Potter after).

My phone broke a week and a half ago, so I have only had my ipad, which takes crappy pictures, so I haven't really been taking any.  But here are some randoms that I did take, or Sara sent to me out of the goodness of her heart.

We switched the tv stand with the dresser in Lucas room, so that it fit better, and it surely does! I like this so much more, and now I won't be wishing I could buy a new one every day!

Luca has been loving crackers and chips lately, when he goes into the pantry to chose something it is often one of these two things.

We headed to Costco one evening to replenish our water stock, I wasn't planning on getting so many, but I left Jose alone and came back to this--whatever--at least we are prepared!!

Luca was thrilled about it all, and his throne.

Sara and I got together and headed to target on earth day, we had lots of time to kill so we let the boys wander and tire themselves out.

The one with a Play date

First. I need to document this experience of Halies.

Poor girl, I can only imagine what was going through her head! I'm so glad she knew what to do, and that the Hilliard Police were so nice to her.

I'm even more glad it was just Jessica and nothing more.

The other day Luca and I were playing up in my room, and he brought me a little compact mirror in his mouth. I took it and tossed it behind him, and he ran over, put it back in his mouth, came back to me and waited again for me to throw it again. So I did. Several times. He's like a dog.

I tried to take a picture but then he was done.

He's also been really into somersaulting since daddy helped him do it. He's getting pretty good! He still falls to the side mostly, but that's a step! Soon enough!

Luca and I were still sickly yesterday, and Joses back has been acting up again, so we all stayed home yesterday and just relaxed and rested.

Luca seems sooooo much better today--hopefully we just keep moving up. I feel a little better but still not 100%.

Since we haven't been feeling well the house is a wreck. And monday rolled around and Sara told me Emilie was coming over so we went to see them all instead of cleaning/instead of feeling worse by trying to do so much here/feeling worse because I didn't do anything. Hahaha. I'm complicated.

Once I decided to go I asked Luca if he wanted to go see Grant and Sara--this was his response.

"Yaaaaahhhh"

I tried to get him to nap on the way up, but he fought it and fought it. At least he's still a cutie. And calm for the rest of the day.

We went to see Brittany and the kiddos and everyone piled in the wagon so we could walk for once. Grant wasn't loving it at first, but he allowed it to happen.

The kids were all crazy and made a mess for Brittany to clean once we all left. But not before a kiddo picture!

Luca and Grant played so well once everything calmed down. Grant is so protective of Luca it's hard for him to have a good time when there are other kids around him. It's so sweet.

They had a little dance party after naps and we ran to the store.

And into the box Luca went. I'm pretty positive he tried to climb into a tiny silver bucket that Grant keeps his play tools in too. That was effective I'm sure.

I just love seeing them together. They will be buds for life.

As a side note. I've been drinking a gallon of water a day since the beginning of December, and just recently have noticed the little differences since then. Besides doing the obvious--soda isn't even appetizing or helpful for my thirst anymore, but I find myself staying fuller longer. I'm not snacking nearly as much. I find myself at the fridge more out of habit now, but not actually hungry!

It's been fabulous. I could do without the million bathroom trips a day but it's worth it. I'll have to pay attention to other changes.

The one with the candy shop

Today we all went to brittys again. Sara had a doctors appointment so I kept Grant there to play with/be bullied by Jace.

Don't worry. Sara found out she is indeed dying. I shall announce the time and date for the funeral we shall hold in her honor.

They watches Elmo peacefully for a little and were adorable before they weren't again.

And then the meaness started again. However. Both boys were totally sweet to Luca. So I'm lucky. They like my baby.

Then Sara, Grant and Luca and I went to the candy store by matts work--we talk about going everytime I'm down there, and I had already left when Sara thought of it but I turned myself right around for that.

My mom used to take us to this candy store when we were little-but the one in Provo. They have windows so you can watch the decorators and stuff. It's adorable.

I was 2 seconds too late to getting the best picture of Grant just riding this dog like a horse. He pulled it down and did it all on his own.

This morning as I got ready for the day I had harry potter on--I know. Shocking. And my child finally showed me he belonged to me for sure by watching it. He was entranced for quite sometime. It made me oh so proud.
