The one with some babysitting!

Luca and I headed to Saras to do some real babysitting while sara went to visit her neighbor again, they boys did so well.  Nikolai is totally happy with life if he can just sit at the piano.

Luca and Grant just spent so much time making Nikolai happy and laughing.

Grandpa and Grandma Rosie got back from Orlando and they brought Luca a sweater and a new bubble gun.  Even though it was freezing cold we tried it out.

Luca loved "bubas" so he had a blast, and of course the cold didn't bother him.

The one with some birthday cake.

Analia and Blake came over to hang out with us a few days before halloween--Luca made her sit in his tent with him.

He still finds that statue on every map he can find.

And his costume.  He modeled it several times before we actually trick or treated.  He loved the thing.

Those balloons didn't die for so long, I am actually pretty positive there is one or two upstairs still.

We took Nicole and Cailynn to see the hispanic cultural event at the conference center--however if you ask Nicole, it was just a David Archuletta concert.  It was very cool, even luca enjoyed himself.

We finally had a cake to eat for Luca, so he got more candles to blow out.  Grandpa and Ana came to eat it with us.

Then we watched Lucas favorite, Baymax.  He sat with Grandpa the entire time.

The one with Grandpas Birthday

I am such a failure at blogging, I was threatened, so here we go, catch up time, which means lots of pictures and not a lot of explanations.

We  celebrated Grandpa Andres Birthday back in OCTOBER, that is how long it has been apparently, my word.  Luca decorated the wrapping paper, and traced his name and shapes.

And of course helped un-wrap it.

The one with a surprise party.

Luca went on a walk to the park with Grandma Rosie and Ana a few days before we headed to NY.

We went to get ice cream after too, because of course.  I only give Luca the sample cups, one or two, and then get him fruit and one or two candies in his cup.  Its so much cleaner that way.

We went to get a few more pairs of jeans for the trip/fall and winter, and the rain was just coming down on Saras hood.

We also learned how to eat olives the for real way.

And 5 at a time is no issue for Luca.

Once the furs come out at Target Luca and I play and play.  He loves it.

Jose organized a surprised birthdayish party for his dad.  He got all his old missionaries from when they were mission presidents back in the day to come.

We did it at the restaurant, and it was awesome and worked really well.  Tons of people came, and lots of food was brought.

We did it in the "antigua" room, because that seemed appropriate for the Guatemalan Missionaries.

Luca was in heaven just running around like a crazy, and screaming to "GAPA!!!" across the room at any random moment.

At one point I couldn't find Luca, and I had left the back door open for air flow, and I found him OUTside laying on the ground by grandpas car saying "Gapa, gapa, gapa" over and over again.  I counted my blessings that he didn't go any further--trax runs down that street.  Dang child.

Random picture update--command strips rule my life now.  And if I already posted this picture, sorry.  But I doubt it because I did it that night when we got back from the party.
