The one where Luca is a Monster.

I was getting ready one morning and Luca as per his normal, was running in and out of my closet, locking himself in and then begging to be let back out.  It was all normal until I heard him scribbling on the wall.  I thought he may have grabbed a car and was driving it crazily along the wall, but nope. He found a pen and was going nuts making "O's!!!!"

He was oh so proud, and kept telling me over and over that he made lots of O's.

That was a first for him, and now we have to remind daddy to keep his work pens up high.

Then on my way downstairs I found this--he is fast, and he is a boy, AKA a tornado.

We got the most delicious corn on the cob from a farm stand, and Luca needed to help shuck it all, which I do outside or at the store, because I hate that mess, and I still have yet to master it cleanly.  Luckily we have a backyard to sit in now!

We went to see daddy at work for kids day, and the cat and the hat read some stories and Luca got a million necklaces, and barely touched his free meal.

This is one of Lucas favorite games ever.  He sits on the end of the couch and "counts" to 3 and then runs and jumps on us.  Although his 2 and 3 are 5 fingers, he knows its 3 words.

The girls and I got a dominoes game to play, and Luca needed to join the fun, but couldn't during our actual game so he and I built towers and rows to knock over after.

Destroying things is probably his most favorite thing in the entire world, maybe just below his grandpas.

He even got up and went to find a hammer to help him demolish them.

After his nap he insisted on wearing this tie around, and he even went out to play in the backyard with it on.

^^these pictures will forever be my favorites.

We facetimed Nicole and Grandma Becky the other day, and Luca was just all over the place and into stuff, so I screen shotted it, but you can barely see him, and their heads are cut off because they weren't ready, because they didn't know I was taking pictures.  They are welcome.

^^his newest thing is to bring the dishes all over the house, first it was just stacks of things, and now he lines them up all nice and pretty.

Kelly and I had a conversation about halloween costumes, and this was requested.  I have to say I do approve.

The one with a trip to grandmas house.

Luca got a haircut this week--he didn't enjoy it. We miss the curls, and his little ears are popping out like crazy--and I can't even blame it all on his dad. Good things he's dang adorable.

We went to see grandma and pick up some things from her old house. They just sold it so they are getting rid of things, so we got to take some things that we wanted. So many memories!

My dad gets her beautiful dining room table, and since he's so far away, I'm keeping it for him until he can get it. I'm very excited. It will be here any minute now!!

Grandma is doing so well--it's crazy!! She's eating and walking around again, and making her own bed! It's very exciting.

The boys ran around the place like psychos and she relished in it. She laughed and played with them again like she used too. I loved it.

She's so sweet to them, and luckily Luca was too.

He's all about giving kisses lately. He likes to kiss me all over my head and face like I do to him. I've caught him kissing everything lately. His toys, my legs, dolls, the piano--doesn't matter what it is. They deserve a kiss apparently!

The boys occupied themselves while we looked around and behaved surprisingly well. I was pleased. So much less stress comes when children are good--especially in a house with so many breakable things.

Seriously. The storms are my favorite.

I'm working on loving the puddles like Luca. But man when we are late to something and he jumps right in a mud puddle my brain goes crazy.

Jose and I went to see tomorrowland and left Luca with my in laws. He went a million miles an hour and gave them a run for their money. He loves it over there. He never hears the word no.

That's what grandparents are for!

Lucas newest thing is the letter O. He's obsessed with it ever since we learned it. He points them out everywhere he sees them. The TV, books, outside, my phone, everywhere. In nursery today he ran as fast as he could across the room, and dove head first into the toy bin, just to point out the o's in "Foxboro" that was written on it. He was proud.

On our way home from church we drive down a street of "10" addresses, like 1034, 1035 etc. and he yelled them all out, but couldn't really keep up with them all, and get all flustered. It was awesome.

He has to watch daddy go to work now, up on the couch by the window.

We went to babies r us to get a toddler bed rail, and Luca tested out all their $300 toddler beds--WHY do people buy those?? I don't understand.

Anyway. While we were in line he found these cheese balls and wanted them so bad he ran off with them and tried to open it.

See him side eyeing me?

Seriously. I love my child. He eventually out them back--I did not cave.

He was all about the baby dolls in nursery today. He carried one around and took its hat on and off and kissed it. Then threw it across the room. No big deal.

I try to get Luca to watch movies like this sometimes, because that's how I did when I was a kid. It rarely lasts longer than a few minutes, but I love it while it does.
