The one with weird satisfaction.

Lately Luca will fuss and fuss and fuss all day long. I try everything to make him happy, and he wants nothing. Except this.

He and daddy were watching frozen songs on YouTube.

This was at Tucanos. He was starring at the lady behind us.

He feels the need to be hanging off whatever he is laying on. My legs, dad, the changing table, anything. But as long as he is happy, I'm usually happy. Normally at this point I'm laughing at him. He is strange.

We were playing in the crib yesterday, and I just wanted to see what he would look like stranding up. Of course it was more of leaning up. But still. It was adorable. And I can't wait until he is big enough to do it alone.

This was Marley yesterday. After I scoured the neighborhood for the second time that day looking for him. Just patiently waiting for me up give up and come home to let him back in.

The dang thing has been getting out of the backyard multiple times a day. I get a call or a Facebook notification telling me somebody has him. It's getting old.

It's the dog next doors fault. He digs and digs under our fence so Marley can fit under that and then out under their gate. It's so irritating.

So I went to lowes yesterday and got some paver brick things and lined my fences with them so he can't get out.

The one with a 4 month appointment.

Luca had his doctors appointment today. And Jose so conveniently had to work and left me all alone for a million shots. It was not pleasant.

Luca didn't nap at all today, EXCEPT of course on the way to the doctor. So I so kindly had to wake him up undressing him to be weighed, and then stabbed.

He gained some good weight though!

13lbs 8.5oz. He is in the 10% percentile for weight. And the 85% percentile for height. He's 26 inches long!! He's so tall. It's hilarious. That's why he is so skinny minnie. My mom says that's how we all were. I still love my tiny babe.

The dogs got some much much much needed hair cuts today. They look so much better with it all short. They hate the place though, the groomer had to drag them both in this time. And I'm heartless and just laughed. I'm a good dog owner.

I made sweet potatoes for Luca today, another win! He loved them. This has moved up to the thing he's eaten the most of at once! Hooray!

I used my beautiful food processor to slice these bad boys, and then steamed them and then puréed those fellas.

He was so tired all day, and his sad little legs were hurting him so he took a bath and got some medicine and went to bed early! Which mom appreciated.

He was too sad not to hold still. But he woke up when I put him down. Not a peep came out of him though, he just got comfy and fell back asleep.

Last night I put him down, and left the room and he just squeaked and talked to himself for a little before falling asleep. He's my favorite.

The one with peas and bananas.

We tried out some different foods. I know I should take it slowly, but my new toy just calls out to me to make more stuff!!

We had peas and bananas, he did not appreicate those peas.

That was the first negative reaction. However. He LOVED the banana. He ate more of that than anything so far, even the rice cereal.

Then he had some daddy time, and Jose torchered the dogs and it made Luca laugh. They are still terrified of him for whatever reason, and won't touch him or get close to him if they can help it.

We need a new rug for crying out loud. It's driving me crazy.

Yesterday Nicole texted me and this was our main conversation.

She's awesome. And my favorite now. :) I love when people say they are waiting for more posts. It's motivating. Now come back and visit again!!

The one with a Sunday night.

I wouldn't say this is all typical but it is basically our lives. :)

We practice something, holding things, rolling over, different sounds, etc and do some tummy time.

The dogs act like they are in jail for a bit. And we put them there. Which of course we would, but don't, they do it themselves.

And then they finally come out and fight for attention. (We truly shouldn't have dogs. They are basically neglected now.)

During all this excitement I'm doing something. Usually the obscene amount of laundry we go through.

We test out different toys. Today he prefers the soft ones he can grasp really tightly and fling around.

Then we gave him a bath because there is also a ridiculous amount of spit up that proceeds to come out of my child's mouth this whole time.

And then. We start another load of laundry. It never ends.

The one with the gals

Jose's family is all here for Christmas--and our nieces are staying with us this time!

They came last night and we watched pitch perfect together--well they did--I fell asleep halfway through--and they got used to being begged and begged for some lovin by the dogs.

Kate was not a fan of them when she got here but she likes Marley now--he's the calm one. :)

They are neglected now that we have a babe and they let everyone know that comes over. They will beg and beg and beg to be petted. Sometimes they will even accept a foot that is in the air to rub up against as being petted. They are special.

Nicole decided to be nice for a second last night during the movie and reach off the couch to pet jack--but he was up on the couch next to her faster than anything.

And then of course Marley got on Kate because how dare jack get petted and not him.

They are seriously the most polite well behaved girls I've ever met--and they are so fun to have around.
And they like me--which is a major plus in my world. :)
