The one with a wedding.

The weekend we got home was Daniel Wisemans wedding day!! Which is crazy talk. Her name is Melissa and she is the sweetest thing ever!! And her dresses!! So pretty. They were so happy.

Their reception was Friday night and they got married in the Salt Lake temple on Saturday Morning. I didn't get any pictures from temple day, but I did from the reception!

Elsa, I mean, Crystal even came all the way from her mission in France to join! At least her head anyway.

Luca, of course made friends--this is Emily's little boy. They played on this for basically the whole night. Except when my child discovered a room full of cupcakes....we will get there.

Congratulations Daniel and Melissa!! Melissa is a trooper to want to put up with Daniels crazyness forever. :) their life will never be dull!!

And. The cupcakes.

I let Luca wander in and out of the cultural hall because he always came back. And I didn't think he could get into anything out there. Boy was I wrong.

I went I find him after once he was gone for a while. I stepped into the hall just in time to see a lady leading him out of a room with an entire mini cupcake--wrapper and all--shoved in his mouth and she was carrying probably 3 to throw away. Lovely.

I apologized and cleaned Luca up. They shut the door to the cupcake room after that.

But seriously. Those are nursery tables. Right at his level. Of course he ate as many as he could before someone caught him! Probably higher tables next time.

We had a fun night with all the family and the next day even more people came! They had a luncheon for us after the temple which was yum.

The one with the puzzles

Luca and I went to the wisemans yesterday! Anyone who's anyone knows the awesome wisemans, and that you don't go there not hungry. Because you will leave stuffed. There is always tons of food and lovely people.

Angela and Zack hadn't met Luca yet so that was the main reason we went. He was loved on a lot. Of course. :) all the ladies are natural mothers and can handle a baby without a second guess. It's awesome to have such good hands to give me a break for a sec.

We chatted away and the Heidi pulled out 8 puzzles and started them ALL at the kitchen table. She said it was a tradition but everyone was complaining so I'm thinking she made that up. But it was still fun, and despite all the comments everyone sat to help at some point.

The wisemans have such great family time, and I want my family to be like that. They all get along so well and do stuff together (alllllll of them) so often. It's so great! They are definitely one of the reasons I want to have a ton of family traditions because they showed me how great they can be!

I helped with ALL the puzzles cuz I'm awesome.
Really...I didn't. But I wanted too. That counts right? I finished the one Heidi started--and by started I mean she left the last like 30 pieces and I put those in. :)
Heidi is aMAZing at puzzles. She doesn't so the edges first, and she can just stare at a pile of pieces and pick up one at a time and put them exactly where they go. She doesn't ever have to try a million pieces together (like me) they just fit. It's amazing to watch!

This is the one I helped finish. :) and now want to buy cuz it's beautiful.

Heidi even held Luca and fed him while she puzzled away.

And I did this WHOLE outside. I know. I'm talented.

And. Funny story. While I was there I was taking these pictures to blog, and I totally almost said, "I'm gonna blog this shiz" out loud. That wouldn't have been the best. Clearly. Sara you are a bad influence on me and I've been spending too much time with you. Good thing I thought it first.

It's always fun (and a long) day!! Time flies when I am there!!
