The one with dinner with the Johnsons!

I JUST WANT FALL.  No matter how hot it gets while we are at church.  Not really of course, the sweater came off, but my goodness.

It was my Aunt Jennys birthday a few weeks ago, so we went over for dinner on a Sunday night.  Luca and Cai and Nicole went out back to the trampoline of heaveness for a bit while the big kids talked.  Nicole is so good to let Luca order her around.

See that fall like tree back there?? Its mocking me.

Luca chased the dog around, but nobody needed to throw it against the wall this time, he kept his distance.

Cailynn is so good with Luca too, he loved her, and she played with him the whole time and kept him occupied for us.

And that happened.  Twice actually, I demanded the second for a picture.

We had poprocks in the car and let luca have some on the way home.  He likes it.  As do we for the hilarity.

Luca and I headed to the mall for jeans, so unsuccessfully, hours of waste.  But I spotted this on the way out and that made things slightly better.

Luca found a tiny Guido on the ground, and gave him a new home.  He drove him around his legs and flew him in the air the rest of our trip, he came in very handy for distractions.

Whenever Luca gets out of the stroller he knows he has to hold on to the side, which he does for a bit, but then lately he has wanted to just push. Nobody can help, or guide or correct, its super fun sometimes, so it doesn't happen often.  But since we were in this wide open space, and there weren't many people around and we weren't being rushed I let him push it to his hearts content, and I just followed behind.

He loved it, and he looked so old doing it.

The drive home was clearly awesome.  This was after a stop at Ikea, which ended up being longer than expected, shocker with it being Ikea--BUT in my defense Luca begged for it when we passed it on the freeway on our way to the mall.  Anyway, it was well past nap time.

Right before he gave into the sleep--literally it was 30 seconds from scream crying, to a tiny giggle, and then,

He was out.  It was funny after it was over.

When we got home we found our AWESOME harry potter doll from Jana for Cherises Adoption fundraiser in the mail already!!  Luca was still out, and hated it when he woke up, but I LOVE IT.

Nicole accompanied us to the mall later that night again, by me for the jeans I liked, which was again a major FAIL.  Who knew that GAP, and the GAP outlets were 2 completely different stores with different sizes, merchandise and coupons?? That is stupid.  Name it something else.

Luca amused us in the candy store with these minion glasses.
