The one with a new found love.

Well, I clearly fail at blogging on vacation, I think I knew this fact, but I kept fooling myself into thinking this trip would be different.  Obviously not.

Our trip is over this week, and as it will be beautiful to get back to my house, and bed and routine--we will be so sad--Luca especially I think.  He has loved all the attention and love he has gotten.

During our first FHE here Luca joined Halie in the music--he lead for us, and then helped her play.

He brought me a hair tie and begged me to put it in his hair, so I did, and then shockingly he changed his mind about wanting it.

We went to visit Morgan one morning before we headed to Mackenzie's house.  Luca had a ball in the kids club running around and making friends with all the kids.  Morgan was so kind to continue her employment there for seven years so we could bring Luca there.

Then we headed up to Mackenzies with Grandma and halie.  Luca and I stayed there for a few days that week.  Being here for a month has been hard, and beautiful all at once.  We have had so much time to spend with everyone, and I am so glad I haven't been stressed out about it.

Luca was so curious about tiny baby Lyla, he just sat and watched her, and would get distracted by her in the middle of doing things.

Mackenzie and Tony did Lylas room in a Dr. Seuss theme--and it is beyond adorable.  Trufula trees all over--and the tiny rocking chair that we had as kids!  I am so jealous they live so close and can take those things!

We had many many many conversations about how the things there were Lylas, and not "MINE!" like Luca assumed.

^^^See those wandering hands?

Then he checked to see if I was watching him--which I was of course, so he slowly pulled his hands back to himself.

Tony got out this little stool so that Luca could watch the doggy outside.  That is all he wanted to do--he loves that thing.

We just loved and loved on Lyla.  She was just so tiny!

Mackenzie was so good and took Luca to help with things, he helped her take the trash cans to the curb, and then stayed out there so Luca could play with Tribbi.

Luca loved chasing Tribbi around, and running everywhere with him.  They just followed each other around back there forever.

Her eyes seemed so big and wide--and then we saw her again this week--and NOW I think they are huge and awesome.  Just wait.
