The one where we go to Innis Woods Garden.

Grandma Becky, Nicole, Luca and I went to Innis Woods Garden together.  It is just one of those places that you have to go to--because Utah just doesn't posses the ability to create a place of such green magnificence.
We are watching Anne of Green Gables, forgive my over descripted things.

Luca was running along the trails ahead of us, but keeping close enough for my own comfort.

After this bridge, he took a right, and disappeared, we walked faster and once we were close all I saw was Nicole rip her purse off, throw it on the ground and run at full speed toward where Luca was.

He was climbing out of a pond.  He had apparently just walked right into it  I didn't hear anything, and it was adorable to see Nicole spring right into action.  I know had Luca needed it, she would have jumped right in after him without a second thought.

Since we all missed the big event, and he was fine we were all laughing so hard.  He was soaked from about the neck down in front, and a little lower in back.  From what I can gather and imagine, he just assumed it was still ground, just a fancy looking green ground.  There was a film covering the whole thing, and it did not look like water!  He must have just kept running along, assuming he could just keep going, but he fell right in.  I think it must have just been waist high, and he fell forward in the shock at falling in, and caught himself, making his whole front wet

We just wiped him off, and continued down the trails and found more things to see.  He didn't seem to bothered by being soaked the rest of the day.

We found this awesome tree house down a trail and Luca loved climbing that thing.  That would be the best tree house in a back yard ever!

One plus of Luca already being soaking wet, when we came across this water toy, I had no problem letting him splash to his hearts content.

^^that spec of white up in that picture was an albino squirrel--Luca had a blast watching it run and climb that trees.

I brought him a jacket, just in case he needed it, and it turns out, we did.  Once we got done with all the trails, we stripped Luca down and dried him off and cleaned him off the best we could and stuck him in it.  We were headed to lunch too, so we stopped at khols and I ran in to grab some clean and dry things for him to wear.

This green makes my heart happy.
