The one with a pumpkin book.

We tried Luca's Halloween costume on yesterday. Because why not?? We just had to make sure it fit. And oh my land.

Clearly he is just as thrilled with our choice as a lobster as we are.

Luckily his hands come out of the claws. Which I was worried about. He would have been ticked all of trick or treating!

We played in the playroom a ton today--we only had the TV on for like 45 minutes today! That was impressive of us. Just a little before naps and a little after--he woke up because of a poopy diaper and not because he was ready. Soooo we had a fun fun little bit after that.

He climbed into the toy bins and had me read "five little pumpkins" 200 times.

That is not an exaggeration either.

That's the only boo he wanted to read today. He brought me a million others but would grab back the pumpkin book when I opened a new one.

I finally got around to putting up the learning things we got at the dollar store--but our dollar store wasn't awesome like Sara's so this is all we got. But it works for now!

Don't mind the sideways airhockey table. We are getting rid of it and we're trying to take it apart today but we had to wait for daddy's help.

BLAH fruit flies are GROSS and stupid stupid. I do not appreciate them at all. We joined a neighborhood "co-op" for fresh produce every other week. That is when the flies came. We stopped doing  the co-op because the quality was awful but the flies won't go!!!

I set traps for them yesterday but caught none with the first one--it was orange juice and a banana--up top--they all just sat on top of the stupid thing. So I looked up a new solution and tried it.

Red wine vinegar and a little bit of dish soap! That worked beautifully. It called for just red wine--but we obviously don't have that around here.

There are still a few I'm waiting to die but I can deal with that.

Luca did his first ever art piece with me yesterday! The table and all. It was adorable. And we shall hang that up.

We attempted a little crayon but he just wanted to eat those so we just did markers.
