The one where my babe is almost too old.

I just can't believe Wednesday is the day. My baby will be a whole year old!!! We are working on "how old are you?" He's almost got it down!! 

We let him take a turn to steer like our parents did for us--yes much older than this. But he still loves it just the same. 

We did it on a deserted street in our neighborhood and when a car came we stopped. 

Luca was thrilled. 

He always tries to honk the horn too but it's too hard for him to do alone. He usually just yells instead. 

We stopped at the park and let Luca run a bit. He loves this red spinning thing. It's tilted so if you sit on it you basically just slide right off. He lays on his belly and when it starts to spin he squirms off as fast as he can.  

He discovered a new way to slide too! It doesn't catch his feet as much this way either. 

Sorry these are blurry. I tried sooooo hard. But of course my phone didn't cooperate when I needed it to be fast. 

I just love his crossed little legs. 

I was eating a nutty butter today and he came as fast as he could and took a huge bite. He just sat there with it sticking out of his mouth forever. 

Then we had to end it when he tried to shove it all the way in. 

He is doing so good with walking! He just goes and goes! It's his first choice still--but then he crawls. 

He seems to be getting the "flat feet get you farther" thing because he isn't curling up those toes as much anymore! 

We went back and forth a million times today. He did fabulously--except the times we tried to record--of course. He would make it halfway and then just sit. Crazy head.

He's doing so good and it blows my mind that we have had him for almost an entire year. He was still in my belly one year ago today!! That's insane. 

In fact. It was a Monday morning that we went in to have him--so that's what I would be prepping for right this second--if we only went by the day of the week of course. 

I love my baby.
