The one with the trip back home.

Well we made it! Luca and I are back in Utah! As much as I hate leaving and not getting to see my family whenever I want, it's good to be home!

And as a plus my husband cleaned the whole thing! You'd never guess we had dogs two weeks ago! Yay!

I was super worried about Luca not sleeping tonight, because he's had such a hard time since we've been gone. I put him down last night, and he had the weirdest freak out/panic attack I have ever seen him have! It took me a good ten minutes just to calm him down, and then I had to hold him until he was asleep. He kept opening his eyes to make sure I was still there in-between his fewer, but still coming huge breaths trying to calm himself. It was so sad. I didn't know why he was so sad!

Everything is so new again, even his own room, it's going to take a few days to get used to it again.

However, after I calmed him down and he fell asleep in my arms he slept ALL night long in his crib until 7:30!! Which was like 9:30 to us. That was beautiful of him.

Kenz got these fire truck jams for Luca while we were out there--they are ao cute! He got too hot in them in ohio, but he will wear them tonight!

We hung out at the airport for a bit yesterday and I found this sock money buckeye--and of course I had to get it! And I found a mini football. And got one for Grant too! Luca didn't care about that as much.

So thrilled.

Our first flight was to Phoenix. Four dan hours. Never again alone. My goodness. That was the worst of the four flights, and he was still really good! Especially comparing him to the other like 9 babies on board. There were more than I've ever seen!

It's just hard to entertain someone in the same seat with the same toys for that long. Luckily he is occupied with wrappers and cups so there were lots of different ones for him to play with, but you can only love that for so long.

He slept for the first 45 minutes, and the last half hour, of course the loudest and most turbulent time of the entire flight. My child is strange. But it's so much better than a screaming baby in pain!

Our last flight was absolutely PERFECT though. So it evened out. He slept for an hour or so of it, and then just laughed the rest. Literally. It was beautiful. And only an hour and fifteen minutes. I will for sure be planning better flights from now on. Shorter is way better.

Here's one of the last pictures I took in ohio. I was doing laundry and he needed some lovin so I gave him a ride. A super comfortable ride I'm sure.
