He likes the loud, but not the dark. He did not cooperate in there one bit. Everyone took their turns trying to make him happy, but only mom and the hall would do. Strange child.
We were ready to go around 8:30 but had to wait for dad to get some dancing out of his system of course. So we waited in the foyer, and Luca just stared into the cultural hall the whole time.
So of course he fell asleep in the car on the way home, for about 45 minutes and then, didn't go to bed until 11. That was incredibly fun.
We had "stake" conference today, but it was actually our "county" conference. Everyone in davis county watched this conference, and it was broadcast from the conference center in slc. They do these every other year, and I love them! How amazing it is to be spoken to on such a small scale by an apostle of The Lord! Elder Anderson spoke to us today, and I love that man.
Luca did well, but two hours in the same seat isn't his favorite. We ended up in the hall for a little bit and then he hung out under the bench and played.
We sat behind our bishops family, and Luca ended up rolling under the bench to join them. They have a little boy that is one that just got a kick out of him. It entertained all the kiddos, and that was super helpful! Yes. I took pictures. Don't judge. I should have taken more but I didn't.
Luca ended up sitting up on their bench with them and just laughing away with their little girl. She's going to be quite the babysitter one day! Of course he was quieter and better up with them than back with us.
We have the missionaries coming over for dinner tonight, so we came to see Grandma Rosie, Grandpa Andres and ana for lunch.
I just love his tiny lips. He won't one day, but good grief. They are the sweetest.
Ana got him this cute outfit--overalls and a whale? Yes! Thanks lady!
Daddy took a nap on the floor. And disturbed us all with his bulldozer snoring.
