The one with an ohio momma day!

Lets start off with my "mom of the year" moment from this morning. I was folding laundry in Luca's room, but with my back to him while he was playing on the changing table. I was right there, I turned around several times and was talking to him, he was just chatting away. And then. I turned all the way around when I was done. And this is what I found.

He was just hanging off the edge like that. Had he kicked or moved one more inch he would have fallen right off. Someone is watching over my babe, and I am grateful. That will teach me to keep my back turned so long. And. Yes. I'm aware this makes me an even better mom, because I paused to take a picture. But I held onto him once I realized.

Anyways. We had our February ohio mommas day today. I love love when we can all get together and just eat and chat about our lives now, and reminisce about the past. It's so fun. And almost like a therapy session.

I sat Luca on abyl. Because he's a constant moving ball of energy. He laid still for maybe 30 seconds, which was probably some kind of record.

And then used my child as a chew toy. Probably to get back at me for sitting my child on top of him.

Grant got all dressed up in his new train outfit from daddy. It was adorable.

And of course little hailey was so content just crawling around exploring and discovering things. She cried twice today. That was weird.

Poor Thomas was so sleepy but there was just so much going on. Kelly appreicated his cuddlyness though, so it all worked out. He's so precious. And also huge.

Here's the three born within 18 (I think...) days of each other. :) Luca is still so tiny compared to the two of them. And I am grateful. On account of I have to carry him everywhere and he is at least 10lbs lighter in his car seat than the others I'm sure.

The whole gang. Grant looks ticked because he is. We woke him up from his nap because he had been sleeping so long and we wanted a picture and for him to get to play. We also took this right after Sara took him out with a blanket in the kitchen. So it's her fault too.

This time we did hoagies. Which is SUCH a better idea than pizza. So we shall do that again. Chips. Veggies, drinks and dessert. It's lovely. I only remembered I didn't take a picture of all of our awesome food after I was gone, so I just took a picture of the dessert I brought home. Buckeyes. How adorable is that?? I thought of it on my way to Sara's so I stopped and got the stuff for them and we made them real quick before everyone got there. They were a hit. Of course. We are all buckeyes at heart.
