The one with Day 3 in New York.

We headed out on the train for day 3 in the city, and Luca got a seat for a bit because we left later than normal, so it wasn't as packed.  We also learned of this amazing app called Todo Math, and its the best.  He loves it, and its so educational!  You can count, trace numbers, find numbers, trace shapes, find shapes, do the months of the year, the days of the week, the seasons, count money, and so many other things!  It was the most helpful app this entire trip, that is for sure.

We did a bit of central park this time, we wanted to bike, but we had the stroller, and didn't know what to do with it, plus it was hotter this day.  No good for me.

We were headed to the Natural History Museum this day, so we crossed across the small side of central park, and headed over.

Now, Theodore Roosevelt.  My goodness that man, if anyone wants to reincarnate him to run the country forever, I would not object.  He is wise. These probably ended up being my favorite things in the museum.

They had a butterfly conservatory exhibit up too--that was super fun,  Luca loved to watch them.

It was a really small area that they were in, but there were sooo many butterflies!!  If you look closely in the pictures you can see them.  They are all under the lights here.

We headed out to see the rest of the museum, which I was actually super disappointed in.  I think I am just used to Utah's interactive, up to date, museums.  This one is really just a million of displays of a million things in one tiny area.  I found it incredibly overwhelming.  I didn't like to stop to stare too long.

That ^^ picture up there though was cool.  I was wondering what the guy was doing up in the wall, if he got shunned up there or something, but it turns out he was put there to watch over the family.  Which was cool!

Again, Theodore.  Why can't more people have these values to run our country??

Nap time was my favorite.  And I am sure it was Lucas favorite too when he could.  He just put up with all of our constant moving, and adult stuff.

It started to rain as we tried to leave, so we bought an umbrella at the gift shop--which we accidentally left in NY, whatever, and headed to actually eat food at a shake shack!  We were soaked when we got there, and I am sad I didn't take any pictures, but I was so overwhelmed at the amount of people packed into the restaurant and the lack of any tables I didn't want to.  The sky was all dark like it gets for Ohio rainstorms, and I loved it.

We ate on the benches that you sit on to wait for your food, because there was literally no where else to go.  After that we ran the block back to the subway station right next to the museum.

When we got home Joses cousin Edgar wanted to take us to "dinner" to get some Chinese.  I say"dinner" because Edgar has no sense of time, and just wants to be a tour guide for life.  We didn't eat until 11pm.  Seriously.  He took us to actual china town, to get "real" Chinese.  I wasn't impressed, mine was sad, apparently I prefer fake China food.  BUT China town was cool, and we walked through Little Italy too.  He drove us around to see a bunch of different sights on the way and on the way back.

China Town is literally a CHINESE community in the middle of New York.  I knew that, but didn't all at once.  Everything was seriously in Chinese.  It was super cool.

The place we went to eat just had a few options....185 options to be exact.  I always always get the same thing because I am sad, but Jose can't handle that many options.  It takes him forever to choose.

Oh and china town is what a girl wants.
I still want to go to that museum.
When we went to Mount Rushmore my favorite quotes were from Roosevelt. He's awesome.
