The one with a trip to the Toledo Art Museum.

While we were with Mackenzie and Tonys we went to the Toledo Art Museum.  It was awesome!!

Well, the thing we went for, the awesome play thing was awesome--but Luca proved to us how un-awesome the rest of the museum could be with a 2 year old.

He played a little with Tony building a bowl, but then wanted to walk on the ancient tile thing in the Egyptian room, and was not thrilled when I had to hold him.  We went around the rest of the rooms while we waited for our time to play.  We should have just gone downstairs where there was more kid friendly things, but nobody informed us about those until we were done.

This room was cool^^ every time you took a step you would play some kind of music--it was loud, but Luca couldn't break anything.  They had a room with a giant ball of helium just bouncing around, you weren't supposed to touch it, but just having more or less people in the room and around it caused it to change direction and go higher or lower.  My pictures didn't work out in there, but it was sweet!

Then it was our turn to play!  You couldn't wear shoes--I wish I had had socks on, but it was worth it--even with the stinky feet smell--we got used to it quickly.

It was a huge hammock like cord knitted playground!  Luca loved it, and it was so easy for him to maneuver around on!  Mackenzie and I (Tony had hurt his knee the night before at mutual, so he stayed down with Lyla) just slid and fell, it was so hard to get a steady balance in there.

Luca was like a little squirrel up there.  He could stick his feet right in the holes and he climbed all the way up to the top at one point.

Group pictures were incredibly hard to get--clearly.

^^those are the holes you climb up into it with.  there were 3 holes, all off center in their little pits so you don't fall all the way through.
Ignore his closed eyes, it was my only picture of the steps up.

We headed across the street to see the glass blowing building--on the way Luca dragged Tony to be in his pictures with him.

We learned later that the giant red ball was there too--but we must have missed it somehow!
