While Kenz and Tony were here Luca got some random cold/cough and ended up sleeping in my room, so he wouldn't wake anyone up, and so that I didn't have to get up and go into his room 20 times a night. He ended up in my bed, which we really don't do often, because I get no sleep.
He woke up a few times in the night, wide awake, and I don't do wide awake in the night, which is why the Lord sent me such a great sleeper. I put frozen on, and he didn't move and fell back asleep.
He slept in so late that morning too, which I also accepted.
He showed off for our company.
I put chalk in his Easter basket this year, so we went out to use it, he didn't catch on that time, but he loves it now!
Conference Weekend landed on Easter this year, so we made all kinds of food, including ham steaks and mashed potatoes. It was yum. Sara, Matt and their boys joined us for all the food and the last session.
Sara saw these bikes at her walmart marked wrong at $5 but they honored it so she got one for Luca! I still am in shock at that awesomeness.
Tony took the boys for a ride later in the day. They just giggled in there together the whole time.
While running some errands with Kenz and Tony we passed THIS SIGN!!!
Are you kidding me???? YESSSSS. Needless to say I flipped out and they were confused. This is beauteous and RIGHT BY ME!!
Kenz made up a new game with Luca and he loved her for it. He still has me do it.
When their hands go up they say "ohh noo!" all high pitched. Well, Kenz did.
Tony soaked an egg in vinegar over night to test the theory of it eating the shell. It did just that. It was weird and rubbery, and bounced, but not too much--as tony found out when he dropped it on the counter.
Their last day with us I wasn't feeling well, my sinus infection started. I had a fever, and chills, and basically just let Luca do whatever he wanted. He chose to chalk on the table. Whatever floats your boat child.
He wouldn't look at me and smile, but he was laughing the whole time, like he knew he was doing something he shouldn't have been. He was so thrilled and I didn't mind much. Chalk washes easy.
Ew whaaaa? That's strange about the egg....
