Yesterday luca was feeling better, but still not 100%. We had another resting day and stayed in jams half the day.
I attempted so many movies yesterday, in place of frozen, Aladdin, beauty and the beast, barbie rapunzel, hotel Transylvania, the bee movie. Anything. But we didn't last even 30 seconds into each one. Until he found Bolt. That one was a winner. Of course. It has a dog!
He begged to go outside later so I let him in the backyard. It was 72 degrees out and our backyard is soooooo big you know, he would get tired out running around.
Ha. Just kidding. He just dug for rocks a bit, and then came in and was so hot we went up to change clothes.
He went back out for a bit longer, and we blew bubbles, but he lost his outside privileges by eating rocks. So we came back in.
We did pasta for a bit, and then decided to have an impromptu dinner with Analia and Blake! It was so fun and definitely something we need to do more.
And yes. We basically ate in the living room because my dang floor is still torn up.
Jose made an avocado lime cheesecake as a test run for the restaurant. Apparently it was a MEGA hit. I actually tried it--by force of course--and what I tried was pretty darn good too. They all loved it and compared it to a key lime pie. Who knew??
I forgot to take a picture of it, and he made a smaller one to take with him to Sysco later, so I got a picture of that. The lines are the weird light in my freezer.
We have decided that what will set us apart in the restaurant world will be the use of avocados. Soups, sauces, cheesecake. You know. Home of the avocado.
Then luca showed off because dad put him on the counter--after I did all the dishes and cleaned the whole kitchen! What the. That never happens on the same days as big meals.
He felt the need to bonk everyone's heads and pull their noses. And drink lime juice. Which he actually liked.
We had a blast and love spending time with them!!
I've been finding lucas cups in the most random places lately. Luckily I search for them and find them before a few hours of them missing. That wouldn't be fun.
Always in his little kitchens fridge.
I let him out his cup in th fridge when he's done with it, and get it out when he needs it, and since then he's used his own fridge too.
I LOVE AVOCADO
