I'm so not a Valentine's Day person. I've never been one for ridiculous over gesturing and showing love that should be shown daily But I do like it for the kiddos. I didn't do much, but I did have a little gift for luca, and grandma Becky sent some awesome stickers with a notebook!
^^he's been all about saying his own prayers lately. He basically says one between every bite. He's one grateful child! I love hearing him mumble and murmur to himself when he does it. He's getting better and better at folding his arms too. They are almost all the way folded now! He also knows he needs to sit quietly for the whole prayer, he knows when it ends and when he can get back up.
His gift was mostly bath stuff, I skipped candy because he still had his cold/cough. He doesn't know that valentines usually includes chocolate yet.
He needed new toys for the tub--so I got some, and some bubble bath.
We were cozy all day. Luca's newest thing is to bring everything he can see that falls in the same category to me. If he wants a snack he brings like 7 different ones to me before he can decide. The same was true with the stuffed animals.
He had a blast with his new stickers and notebook! I think they will be a huge hit for church. And quiet!! Yes. Thank you kelly for that!
I swear I need like 3 full church bags to choose from each week so he doesn't get bored of what we bring! One day maybe. Or maybe. My child will be occupied longer than 30 seconds one day.
