The one with a visit to Grandma.

We finally got over to midway to see my grandma. She's living in a home now--a very very nice one, I may add--and we haven't gotten down there since she moved.

Jose got the morning off so he could join us.

On our way out the door luca grabbed his hat, and insisted on wearing it. He actually kept it on! I was surprised.

He crashed out on the way there, which I am grateful for--and I ended up taking the hat off because he got all rosey and hot.

Grandma Mary enjoyed the visit. Luca was quite the distraction I'm sure. He doesn't sit still, and even though we were just in one room he found plenty to do.

He opened and shut all the doors, moved all her decorations around, danced and climbed through the coffee table.

I remember doing this as a kid with Sara--so I only encouraged it of course. It was nostalgic for me.

He danced and danced.

And found out he could pick her cane up and danced some more.

They had many conversations and Grandma didn't repeat herself as much as usual! That's good!

She's weak and tired but she seemed like she could kick through that and be back to normal soon. Hopefully she is! I know she's going stir crazy and missing her home.

I'm hopeful we can get there more soon. She craves visitors--and of course her kids here go daily, but she loves a new face.

She only asked for one thing while we were there and that was that we all remember her in our prayers. Which I assured her we would.

She's so sweet. Luca had a blast!

I'm really sad I didn't think to get a picture with her--so next time that's for sure!
