The one with a Birthday Day Part 2.

Let's try this again. I'm sorry you have to see ten million pictures now--I had them all collaged but the stupid things won't post.

It took him a while to learn that he could use his hands and face and tear it apart. It was so funny to watch. Jose was less patient and stuck his face in it a few times.

He caught on eventually and shared with daddy.

And ended up tearing the whole thing apart. Luckily that is the point. And it was adorable.

We went and bathed Luca, and then came back down for presents.

He opened the one present that was wrapped. His Aunt Ana knows what's going on. Haha.

I was too lazy to wrap ours and they were mostly weird shaped. So it would have been harder. I felt bad at first, and then I didn't when he didn't care at all. We basically unwrapped that one for him. It worked out well.

Here he is with most of his haul. Grandma Becky and Grandpa Danny's hadn't come yet.

He played with everything for a bit-but of course the car was the most used.

Then grandpa put together the trailer. That was beautiful for me. I didn't want to attempt that.

He's saying "thank you" to everyone.

After everything I was super dreading cleaning everything up and doing the dishes. And I knew I wouldn't finish tonight and I would wake up to a mess.

I had to go grab a train table for Sara so I left Luca here with my mother in law and sister in laws--by the time I got back the place was spotless. The dishes were done, the place was swept the trash was contained. That was a beautiful blessing. They even mopped my floor which I have been putting off for waaaay too long.

So I got to relax tonight and wake up to a clean house! Thank you ladies! Gracias por limpia/limipas(?) me casa!
Hahaha I have no idea how to say that. But you get it, right?

Yay for birthday boys! We love you Luca!! Happy first birthday baby!!
