The one with the weekend.

This is just a random bunch of pictures from the weekend. Just a jumbled mess.

Luca has been stealing my cup any chance he gets. Like when I leave it on the floor. He's sneaky. He will see it across the room and come an unlikely way but sneak right to it and go to town.

I know I'm weird but I don't share dishes with my child. The only times I've been sick since he's been born have been when I have. So he always has his own stuff. Jose on the other hand always does and never gets sick. So whatever.

This is his new choice of sitting lately. Up on one knee with one leg stretched out. It's precious.

The hotel that is in the parking lot of the restaurant is changing to be housing for patients of the huntsman cancer center and their families--they got their new sign last week! It's no longer a hotel! Progress people.

Jose and Jeff have been working on the roof for a week now and are ready to be done. But they still aren't. It had wooden shingles so they had to pull all of those off and then go back for the staples.

They still aren't done, but there is no roof now, and it's been raining. So that's been fun for them to clean up too I'm sure.

The other day I started some boiled eggs for Luca, and forgot about them. And we left for a baptism. And then some errands. Three hours my flame was on. The eggs exploded. Alllllllll over my kitchen. And the smell was fabulous.

However, nothing compares to the blessing it was that the flame was still on. We have a gas stove so I am very aware how much worse it could have been had that flame gone out.

Luca is becoming cuddlier every day. At least one time a day he comes over and climbs up on my lap and just wants to lay with me. I love it. It's always a random time, just when he feels like it.

We had the missionaries over for lunch on Sunday between the Ogden temple dedication sessions, and I put them to work.

Side note!! The dedication was beautiful. I'm so glad we live somewhere where we have the opportunity to attend so many.  It's such a special thing. I love hearing from the new temple presidents and our leaders.
I'm incredibly frustrated in my brain for Sara though. Whatever to her ward. You should have been able to go!!! I did! TicketLESS. Knewkedtwuqiosbclxe.

They come over several times a week to just chat and hang with us. Mainly Jose. But I live here too.

The last time they were here I was on a roll putting things together. I finished my sliding door panels while they were here and moved on to the shelves I got for plates and stuff. Seriously ikea is my favorite. But four tiny screws into two legs shouldn't be so dang hard. I only got one put together before I was done trying. They just laughed at me.

They still weren't done when they came back so I made them attempt it. So they would know how hard it was.

It took all three men, and 6 hands to do what I did alone. I'm telling you. It's A LOT harder than it seems.

But I enjoyed it. And laughed.

They did manage to finish them all though! So they were rewarded with lunch and creamies. Elder Taylor (blue tie and glasses) just got transferred this week--we will miss him!

My curtains finally came--again. Last time they sent me the wrong dang length.

But now. They are the "right" length. But two different ones. What in the world target??? I love you. But come on. I'm losing it.

I'm going to have to return this short one AGAIN and hope the next one is the right RIGHT length. BLAH.

And I wouldn't even bother but that's all I stare at from my couch. It's all I notice.

But I do still love the curtains. So that's a plus. This is the last time I will return them. I won't love them so much after this.
