The one where it works again!!

OKAY PEOPLE I know you missed me. I am back. No need to fear.

Since my dang blogger app decided to hate me a few months ago I haven't blogged at all--I talked myself into thinking my actual blog on the computer didn't work either, although it did. Whatever.

Sara found this new blog app--BlogGo and it loves me!! Yay!

I'm sad I've missed key moments in my child's life. I'm going to be doing catch up in my posts of things I can remember and pictures. You're welcome.

Luca is now 10 1/2 months old!! He will be ONE next month!! What in the world!

He is huge. And I love him still.

He loved his hat this morning and wore it all around. He also got ahold of a clean qtip and carried it around and sucked on it like a sucker.

Bath time is his favorite time of any day. If he's sick or mad he goes right in there and has the time of his life.

We just started a "mommy and me" music class last week and it IS SO MUCH FUN!!! They do lots of fun things and we are all understanding about short attention spanned children. Luca just loves to people watch always. He's more interested in observing than participating. A lot of the songs we sing and play to I remember from my childhood so it's been fun to reminisce.

He loves to drink from a straw all by himself--or drink like a big boy with help. He doesn't like sippy cups much anymore.

We gave Luca his first haircut at home and by us. We did pretty good I think. He did fabulously too, which in turn made us do well, thanks baby. He had so many curls when it was long. We are curious to see if they come back!

I'm still not sure where those came from.

Luca loves to listen to daddy play the piano--and play with him. His favorite place to watch is from up the stairs.

He can go up by himself (that's been a few months) and just recently in the last few weeks has figured out how to come back down which was beautiful for me.

Just this weekend he has figured out how to get down from all the way upstairs--he turns around and scoots backwards until his little feet find the edge.

He's had a cold for the last week or so. His sad nose got so chapped.

He has six teeth now--he got them in twos.  His bottom two came in the same week first, and then he got his right front tooth, and the left one next to the from one in the same week. So he looked like nanny McPhee for a while with that gap. Then he got his left front one and side right one. He's a pro at eating everything like a bunny with his front teeth.

These dang door stops are his favorite thing in our house--which I will do a post on soon too!
I just recently hot glued all the rubber tips on--which should just be permanent anyway good grief!--once he figured out he couldn't get them off anymore he was ticked but now he doesn't care.

We play with Kelly and Thomas every chance we get. They are limited so we have to take advantage. They are our favorite.

It's pretty much impossible for me to get completely ready in the morning. I shower at night to avoid this. He just hangs on me for some lovin.

Seriously it's his favorite spot.

He's close to walking but he still refuses to stand alone--although he can. He's content crawling for now.

He eats everything and anything all day long. He loves his food.

He's all about dancing now. He bobs up and down right on to any beat, or will do a shimmy thing if it's faster. It's hilarious.

He says mama, dada, papa, later, yes and shakes his head for no. He understands just about all we say to him.

He's a big observer of things. Anything. He just watches people. Which I have been told is how I was. He's a smarty pants and attempts to do what others do.

He unplugs his nightlight almost everyday--but will try to get it back in the plug after, and he tried to put things back together when they come apart--he just tried to put the batteries back in Sara's remote.

He's super independent and prefers to play by himself a lot. He will go right into the playroom to find his toys. Or the toilet when dad leaves that door open. Dang it. That's not my favorite.

He thinks he's hilarious and will laugh at himself forever.

I'll be done for now--but be warned. There will be many posts soon until I'm satisfyingly caught up. :)
Bye for now.
