Friday June 6th
My child's new bedtime routine is super fun. And not at all dramatic.
He get wrapped up right, and I lay him down, he worms out of the blankets, crawls to the side of the bed facing the door, stands up, hangs his arms out and sobs dramatically until I go back in to wrap him again and lay him back down.
His new standing in the crib thing is super nice after nap time. He gets up and walks around his crib and entertains himself for a long time. However in the morning, and at night, it's not so nice. In the morning he just stands right up and screams and screams for me to come get him. And they get meaner and meaner the longer he stands there. We need to work on sitting back down I think.
Yesterday morning he was watching Jose get ready, as usual, but he seemed more tired than usual so he just laid on the bed with me for a bit.
Then he got down and watched dad a bit, got a hug and a kiss and watched sad leave for the restaurant.

And then. The waterworks. It's adorable of him to love his daddy so much. Except how do you teach a 7 month old that he has to go to work and he will be back? It's sad.
He basically goes through the stages grief every morning.
Then we got ready to go to our Ohio Mamma Lunch! Even though it turned out to not even be that because nobody but Cassi and I ended up going. It was still fun though! And I fully expect everyone to come back for the next one.

I got this vintage washer and dryer thing for free from a neighbor and brought it to Grant. He loved it and just said "dad. Dada. Dada." Over and over again, apparently Matt is the ironer over there.
Caelynn had a fight with the little tykes car and had a rough time after that. She had a big fat sad lip the rest of the day.

When it was time to go Grant had a hard time saying bye. We haven't been over much lately which is sad. He climbed right into caelynns car seat ready to roll. It was rough getting him out. And sad.

This is how I've had to resort to feeding my child. He doesn't like to be held much, but he's too distracted and rolls over and crawls away instead of eating. So I have to hold him still and down so he will finish. Crazy boy.
