I don't know if it's the time change, the new environment, his ability to roll over, the different room or everything combined but Luca will not sleep all night here. He's been waking up in the middle of the night just to chat. There is no crying involved only talking. He is so happy and awake. It's driving me crazy.
Tonight he went down late because we went to see Morgans mom, it was about 10:30 when he was in his bed about to fall asleep. I left him swaddled tonight wondering if that would help keep him asleep all night.
This was 11:30.
Wide awake and chatting up a storm with himself. I had just come in to go to bed myself, found him like that and of course my sleep got pushed.
I just laid him by me, not wanting to play and have fun, or else he would think it's okay. And it's not. Mom needs her sleep to function. Haha.
He just laid there for about 10 minutes yawning, and occasionally fussing because he wasn't comfortable. He played with the burp cloth tag while I waited for him to be done.
And then he was over it. And mad because he couldn't get comfortable.
I wish I had pulled my phone out and recorded this, it's not the first time it's happened either. I literally laid him down again and his eyes were already shut, he flipped his head back and forth once and didn't make another sound. Apparently he just needs some attention in the nighttime.
I am oh so praying that was the only wake up for tonight. Holy cow. Please baby. Sleep!
