The one with a loooooong day.

Luca was not having life today. He was mad mad mad, and then laughing. And then mad mad mad again. Mostly mad, if you didn't catch that.

Here's one of his random happy moments.

He spent most of the morning crying or sleeping, but truly mostly crying. He was not a happy child this morning.

I am in trouble if this finger sucking doesn't stop soon. It's so cute right now, but once he's 1--not so much! And then it's too big a habit to break easily! I keep thinking I need to start stopping it, but with our drive coming up in two weeks it seems pointless cuz I won't be able to pay attention to that the whole drive. The plan of attack commences as soon as we get back!

That picture was just as I put him down he opened his eyes for about four seconds, cried, stuck his fingers in and fell right back asleep. Luckily he pulled them out soon, but still! Not something I want to continue.

He's been sitting so much better lately, if I hold his legs down, he falls back a few inches but pulls himself right back up! It's adorable. He's super sturdy now!

We went to target today, (seriously, I may have a sickness, it's basically a daily trip) and he sits well in the cart for quite a while as long as he's propped up on the side a little, and has something to play with. This trip it was a cookie sample cup. He loved it.

Then he gets sick of sitting, so he lays for a bit, until he's over that and then he goes in the back, or I carry him and he holds on to the handle, and tries to eat it.

We were there for pants, he's getting so tall, and growing out of those like nobodies business. And actually. He fits in 9 month pants!! I couldn't believe it! It's crazyness. He's growing like a weed. But that worked out well cuz they had lots of sale 9 month jeans. So hooray for clearance!

These little girls were shopping with their mom and they just surrounded us and stared at Luca the whole time. And followed us around. It was sweet.

I've been seeing these overalls forever at target now, and I finally got them! They look like a train conductor outfit, but on a 5 month old...it's cute!!

Now all he needs is a hat and a whistle like Grants!

Luca and dad played tonight together, and watched Hercules, for like 15 seconds.

He's mimicking us more and more now. He copies sounds we make, and our tongue movements. He's my favorite.

Sorry for the crazy picture over load, but it's necessary.
