Sara took Matt out for a mini getaway for his birthday this weekend. So Jose and I kept Grant for them. He did so well and only had like one meltdown.
He's growing up so much and just wants to do everything on his own. He ate his food in Luca's chair, by request and did it all by himself with a spoon. Granola, marshmellows, clementines, everything.
He tried out all of Luca's toys, and got in all of them that he could. I wish I had taken pictures of that. He climbed in the jumper, the bumbo, the bouncer, the chair, the play mat, everywhere.
He got himself in and out himself too.
He played with every single toy we have for about 3 seconds before moving on.
Except this. This toy he found in the garage after our walk and he played with it for like 20 minutes straight.
They both loved the swings. It's been so nice out so we went to the park and Grant went down all the slides over and over and over again.
Then he wanted to play ball with all the big boys when we got home. Jose is loved by all the neighbor boys, I have to pull him away usually.
Grant got super sad when he realized he wasn't going home to sleep. The only thing that made him happy was to vacuum. Whatever works!
This morning before we took him back to Sara and Matt at their hotel for breakfast we were getting dressed and I couldn't help myself. It made me laugh.
Luca has been moving around a ton lately, within just a few minutes from this picture he had turned like this.
Just in the past few days Luca has started to play with his toes. And it's awesome. It's so cute to watch him grab them. He tries so hard.
Sorry for the million pictures but it was necessary for Sara. Plus it's awesome.
