The one with a visit from Grandpa Danny.

My dad is in town on business--hooray for Rocky Mountain Power for letting them do whatever they are doing so he could come--one day I will remember what his job actually entails.

He hadn't seen Sara's house yet so we all met over there for a little bit and then went to dinner at tepanyaki.

Luca did well when we were at tepanyaki. As well as you can do at such a crowded table anyway. We held him for the first little bit and then he sat in his carseat happily for a while, which helped occupy Grant. He was not a fan of the fires. He flipped out, and I was holding him so I didn't get any pictures. So I will steal Sara's.

Grants new thing lately is to name every person around, in the car, at the house, at the restaurant, where ever. He just goes through the list and you must respond or he will repeat your name over and over again. He wants to be acknowledged. He switched between sitting with all of us over and over again at the restaurant, asking for someone new as soon as he got to the person he had just asked for.

Our chef guy was awesome. He was hilarious and fun, but I could have done without his dirty jokes and inappropriate comments. But over all he was great!  Like Sara said, "we'll call it a cultural difference." She's teaching us all so much with her culture posts--who knew starring in India was totally normal and not at all rude?? Because I didn't. It's giving me a new perspective on other peoples culture--which is totally the point! You can go read about the Indian culture here, and there are links at the bottom to all the other countries she's done! I assure you,, you will learn something!

We are working on getting Luca to put himself to sleep, so this is what happens when I put him down. He just chats to himself for a bit before he falls asleep.

This was every nap today, he never ever takes a bink. I have no idea why he wanted it, I haven't used one since he was like a month old because he just didn't want them. But he actually sucked on it and kept it in his mouth. It was weird, and I kind of hope it doesn't stick.

My salad had sooo much dressing on it and it dripped onto Luca's face at one point. And then I dropped my fork and had to wait like 20 minutes for a new one. That was fun.

I love when dad comes to visit! I wish everyone could come but at least it's something! And in less than two months we will be going out there to see everyone! Yay!
