I have taken a lot of child development classes and I love seeing the milestones he makes and knowing what's coming and what to expect.
I love watching him try try try.
He tried so hard to get his bottle but his arms were too short.
This is a new game. He likes to chew on these bracelets that kate made us because they are rubbery so they squish weird.
He has also liked to hang upside down lately. Not really upside down upside down. I swear I don't dangle my child by his feet. But that would be fun. Just hanging his head off our leg or arm.
The other day I was feeding him and I got distracted by something--possibly this--as I am holding and feeding him as I type now--and when I looked down this was him. And he didn't move or react in anyway. Even when I laughed at him. He just kept laying there. He was too tired to care. Or move apparently. Even though he didn't sleep again for hours.
I love this new stage he is in, being so much more involved and laughing all the time. I love that he is used to being a human now and everything doesn't freak him out, so he can entertain himself and not be scared when his hand touches his face. Now it's purposeful. He even scratches his head when it itches, and rubs his eyes. It's precious.
We are very lucky to have such a happy child. It's only when we wake him up from a nap that he gets mad, otherwise he just wants to laugh and play.
He is almost 11 weeks old now! I can't wait for what comes next!!
