The one with a look back

Sara told me I should do a look back post, and I've been trying to come up with enough stuff to make it worth it. I figured I should do it because there is really no record of anytime before October of 2013--because I didn't have a blog. You will see from my inability to remember much.

I decided I would just do a brief look at the time Jose and I have been together. What I can remember anyway.

Jose and I have been married for 2 1/2 years (to the day on the 6th). The only way I am aware of that fact is because of Emilie. She always knows when her half birthday is, so I always know when my half anniversary is. Thanks for that woman.

I can't believe it's been that long. We have been together for most 5 years. That is weirder.

Through these almost 5 years we have:

Had 10.6 million jobs (only 3 of those were mine).
Been in the hospital 13 times.
Been in 12 states.
Heard 11 mission calls.
Bought at least 10 electronic devices.
Been to 9 temples (3 outside of UT).
Had 8 phone numbers.
Had 7 week long vacations.
Had 6 Vegas weekends.
Owned 5 cars.
Had 4 bishops.
Been to 3 zoo's (two of the top 4 in the nation)
Had 2 dogs.
And 1 babe.

I know that is incredibly brief but that's good enough right?
We probably attended 37 weddings in there too. And knew 24 people that had babies. Ballparks but you get the idea.

And I got to be pregnant with like 16 (probably more) people I am friends with and talk to on a regular basis. That was fun. And super handy for questions. But more so for complaining. :)

This year is going to be just as crazy, if not more so because we have added a child to the mix.

We already have 3 weddings within a month of each other. A family vacation planned (with another top zoo of the nation). A 30th birthday on the horizon. New jobs (I'm positive of that). New businesses. A trip to Vegas for the worlds largest Ferris wheel. And our little mans first birthday.

We are so blessed and grateful for what we have been able to accomplish and go through.
I'm sure this year will bring more joy and sadness but we will count our blessings through it all.

We've come a long way since the night we met....

Here's to hoping we keep progressing. :)
