The one with bedtime stories

I try to read to Luca everyday--and after what Sara said--she tried to read grant harry potter, (I think) but she felt guilty so she started reading scriptures with him instead--which is awesome--I read scriptures with him in the morning. And then at night or sometime during the day I read him harry potter. We are starting to read a scripture story book at night too--it has all the stories but short versions. So we read 2-3 of those as well.

He sits and listens to the stories so well and loves to look at the pictures. We have laid on his floor for 2 hours at a time before just reading and playing. I love it!

Anyone who knows me, knows I can read harry potter everyday if my life and not be sick of it. It's my happy book. Mainly because I can stop at anytime and not be mad he frustrated that I can't keep reading. Which is what happens when I start new books or series. I want my babe to love to read!

Luca is strong. See those hands of his holding my fingers? That is so that he can demand that the bottle be shoved back in his mouth if it slacks at all, even if he's in the middle of a coughing fit and isn't satisfying to him. He holds on as tight as he can so he can keep control if the bottle. When it isn't good enough he pulls or pushes it to where he wants it. I had to fight him today and try to explain that when you're coughing because you choked you can't drink at the same time. He wasn't pleased.

He has a lot of preferences this kid. A lot of them I wonder about. And sometimes I think he's a little crazy and high maintenance. But. I guess I have no one to blame but myself for that. He's 12 weeks tomorrow and I can't believe it! He's growing up so fast. He's my favorite.
