The one where my babe is three months!

Well. It has happened. My babe is three months old!! As much as I wish I could stop time and just have him be tiny and little forever, everyday there are new fun things!! He changes so much all the time. When I say "this is his favorite thing" that only applies to the next 12 hours or so because his preferences change so often. It's hard to keep up but so much fun.

Here are things that mark his 3 months of life, milestones, and his favorites:

-He is still tiny. At his last appointment he was almost 11lbs, so I am guessing he is probably around 12lbs now. :) he's a little guy. And it sure makes for easier carrying.
-He finally can hold his little head up--for the most part. He's still tiny so he doesn't weigh enough to keep that thing up.
-He is so close to rolling his little self over.
-Thomas finally taught him to like tummy time and actually do it right, and lift his head instead of just his bum. Thanks for that mister.
-He laughs all the time and loves to play. The changing table is still his favorite spot for that. We are there for a few hours a day. Seriously.
-He wraps his little arms around my neck and squeezes just like I do, and I LOVE it. Sometimes I may possibly squeeze him a little too tightly back. But he still loves it. We have multiple tight bear hugs everyday.
-He is trying so dang hard to sit up on his own. I feel like that is so close!
-He scoots a little when he is on his tummy--he may be army crawling before he sits.
-He is making more and more noises everyday. He can make pathetically sad ones, hilariously funny, squeaks, and everything in between. And seriously. He says mom. I am claiming that. He does. When I answer he is satisfied.
-He has been needing his arms swaddled in to fall asleep. He will be mad mad mad until I wrap him up and then he is out within a few seconds.
-He loves when I sing to him. Not well I might add but he can't tell so I still do. :)
-He is ticklish all over his little body and is finally learning that he can laugh about it instead of crying.
-He is still sleeping through the night--and he has added a few hours! It is now 9/10pm-8/9 am. And let me tell you. It is beautiful. I can fully function through the day with no nap!
-He is loving playing on his own, in his jumper--staring at his sun and playing with his orange ball(which is still his favorite toy), and on his mat laughing at the star. It's amazing to watch him engage himself with things.
-He has mastered getting things right into his mouth, toys, fingers, his bottle, blankets, his fists, anything really.
-He tries really hard to hold his bottle up for long periods of time as well--he can for a little bit, and when he drops it he tries to fix it himself.
-He has lots of friends and laughs and plays with them all the time. And it's touching and makes me feel safe. Even though I can't see them, he is being watched over.
-He loves to be carried around, instead of being in his car seat. In stores, outside, at church, everywhere. He wants to look around and observe so I let him as much as I can. And he loves loves to be outside. He likes to lick the cold air.
-He loves to read, I read with him everyday and usually do it when he is having a rough time, and it calms him right down. Scriptures and harry potter are the daily reads right now. Yes. I am serious.

Well. That was more than I planned on putting in. Oh well. I'll look back at it one day and be glad. :)

We are going to do a three month photo shoot this week and I'll add those pictures in when we do.
